COULSDON LIBRARY<br />

It’s free to join the library and nearly everything is free to borrow.<br />

Adults and teens can borrow up to 25 items, children up to 15.<br />

We have free wifi, free use of PCs and access to the internet for<br />

up to two hours per day.<br />

Library services are available 24/7, with a digital library of audio<br />

and e-books to download.<br />

This year’s Summer Reading Challenge is Mischief Makers, celebrating the 80th anniversary of<br />

the much-loved comic Beano. It’s local and it’s free. Come and join in the fun! Until Saturday<br />

15th <strong>Sept</strong>ember.<br />

Rhymetime. Tuesdays 10-10.30am. Babies, toddlers and their adults.<br />

Wiggle and Jiggle. Thursdays 11-11.30am. Babies, toddlers and their adults.<br />

Craftytime. Fridays 3.45-4.30pm. 3-7 year olds and their adults.<br />

Rock & Rhyme. Saturdays 10-10.30am. Babies, toddlers and their adults.<br />

Storytime. Saturdays 3-4pm. 3-7 year olds and their adults.<br />

7-12 year olds use the fun and interactive LEGO Education programmes, WeDo or StoryStarter.<br />

WeDo shows how to make models which can be programmed to move; creative stories can<br />

be inspired with StoryStrarter. £1.50 library members/£3.00 non-library members per session.<br />

Both in cash. Advanced booking required. Monday 10th & 24th and Tuesday 4th & 18th. 4-5pm<br />

For Adults<br />

Adult crafts - Colouring & dot-to-dot and knit, stitch & crochet group.<br />

Every Monday 10.30am-12pm.<br />

Macmillan Coffee Morning. Join us for a cuppa and cake and raise money for Macmillan cancer<br />

support. Friday 28th <strong>Sept</strong>ember 10.30-11.30am. Free but booking required.<br />

Adult reading group. On the 2nd Thursday of the month from 2-3pm.<br />

On Thursday 13th <strong>Sept</strong>ember the group will discuss A Song for Issy Bradley by Carys Bray.<br />

We now have a Live Well Adviser to support people who want help to access the JustBe<br />

website or to have a chat about their lifestyle. Tuesday Mornings 10-11.30 am.<br />
