Zu Beginn meiner kreativen Arbeit steht immer<br />
eine digitale Skizze. Manchmal drucke ich<br />
diese aus und male mit verschiedenen Farben<br />
und Techniken über diese Skizze. Die meisten<br />
meiner Werke entstehen aber komplett digital<br />
in Photoshop. Dort kombiniere ich verschiedene<br />
alte Illustrationen und alte Gemälde. Während<br />
ich arbeite, habe ich kein Endresultat im Kopf,<br />
sondern versuche einfach nur unterschiedliche<br />
Teile zu kombinieren. Dies ist oftmals der kreativste<br />
Weg zu einem meiner neuen Bilder, die meist<br />
dadurch eine surreale Wirkung erhalten.<br />
Bereits in meiner Kindheit habe ich den größten<br />
Teil meiner Freizeit mit Lesen verbracht. Natürlich<br />
beeinflusst dies meine Arbeiten und die Bilder<br />
bekommen so einen historischen oder auch<br />
Fantasy-Touch.<br />
The creative process of my work always starts with<br />
a digital sketch. Sometimes I go from there, print<br />
out the file and paint on the surface with acrylics<br />
and mixed media. But the most popular images<br />
are the ones I did completely in Photoshop,<br />
by combining parts of old Illustrations and old<br />
paintings.<br />
I have no plans while doing this, actually<br />
combining weird pieces together is sometimes<br />
the most inspiring way to create a new image.<br />
That is also why a lot of my images are surreal.<br />
Reading books was always a big part of my free<br />
time. Surely my art is influenced by my passion for<br />
history and fantasy stories.
