industry. By employing tapered and high-strength coiled tubing strings that
minimize pipe weight, our DeepReach system extends reach up to 30%
compared to conventional tapered strings. For multi-stage fracturing operations,

snubbing technologies with the worldwide resources and expertise to resolve your most
difficult snubbing, intervention and workover challenges. Not only do we design and operate
the safest, most reliable and efficient units in the industry, our highly experienced and skilled
HWO specialists bring unequalled pressure control expertise to every job. Our dedicated
engineering staff is focused on developing new technologies that will improve the efficiency
of our services. Most recently, we launched our new PowerReach SM
service. This game
changing technology combines the advantages of jointed pipe and coiled tubing.
The PowerReach system removes the limitations of small-diameter coiled-tubing units,
giving operators the ability to perform well stimulation and remedial operations in very
long horizontal wellbores. With the PowerReach system, operators for the first time can
use combination strings of larger-diameter jointed tubing and coiled tubing under live well
conditions. No other system offers this capability. The quick connecting and disconnecting
capabilities of the PowerReach system make it especially valuable in the multi-frac long
horizontals intrinsic of tight shale gas reservoirs.

PRESSURE CONTROL EQUIPMENT SERVICES
The intense activity in onshore shale exploration and production with
increasingly complex well designs has heightened the need for reliable and
safe equipment. Operators can count on Boots & Coots to deliver the highest

High-pressure operations demand equipment that operates flawlessly. For
well control, snubbing and production cleanup, we offer rental equipment that
meets our tough standards and the HPHT requirements for deep wells and
unconventional gas plays. Our highly trained and experienced service personnel
are on location all the way from assembly to project execution, operating and
maintaining the equipment to our stringent safety and reliability criteria
throughout the project.
Boots & Coots equipment meets all API, PSL3, H 2S and NACE guidelines
and is specifically designed for difficult, HPHT operations. Our inventory of

WELL CONTROL
While the name Boots & Coots is forever linked to some of the world's most
notorious and difficult-to-control blowouts, today we are also nurturing an
ever-growing reputation as the one company operators rely on for the most
complex pressure control situations. Certainly, we remain true to our long-held
pledge to "suit up and show up" wherever and whenever we are needed. It is a
promise that goes back decades and traces its roots to the pioneers of oilwell
firefighting as we know it today. In fact, several of our current senior well control
specialists worked directly under the legendary Red Adair. Still others fought
some of the world's most infamous oilfield blowouts with our namesakes, the
renowned Boots Hansen and Coots Matthews.
With a heritage that dates back to snubbing out Algeria's infamous "Devil's
Cigarette Lighter" in 1961, the predecessors of those legends have worked on
every continent. We were there for the Bay of Marchand blowout (1970), North
Sea-Piper Alpha (1988), Operation Desert Storm-Kuwait (1991), Operation Iraqi
Freedom (2003) and the Macondo disaster in the Gulf of Mexico (2010).

Extend Reach To 20,000 Plus Feet
PowerReach SM service is proven to provide deeper downhole
penetration than with coiled tubing (CT) alone, and with greater
efficiencies than jointed pipe alone. Record depths of 20,300 ft.
were reached while milling out frac sleeves in the Williston Basin.
Improvements With Larger O.D. Pipe Coiled Tubing
PowerReach service allows the use of larger O.D. CT compared to
CT-only operation. Larger pipe enables deeper reach without
lockup issues and provides more weight-on-bit for more efficient
drill-out operations. Plug mill outs and well intervention
operations are greatly improved with the CT/JP hybrid string.
Higher Intensity Pinpoint Multistage Fracturing
Coupled with the Halliburton Pinpoint Stimulation, PowerReach
service enables a multistage fracturing process in extended-reach
horizontal wells. Customized treatment of individual zones results
in more efficient and accurate proppant placement.
