These programs are instructed by Fairmont Hockey coaches and players.
If your child has never skated or has skated few times, we recommend signing up
for Learn to Skate. Once they are on the ice, they show confidence and are comfortable,
we can switch them to Learn to Play Hockey if the parent prefers.
Parent Meeting
The Participating child and one guardian are required
to attend the parent meeting.
Session 1: October 24, 5:30 pm & 6:30 pm
Session 2: January 16, 5:30 pm & 6:30 pm
Equipment Handout
All equipment can be picked up on the following dates. A $25 refundable
check deposit paid at the time of equipment pick up is required for rental.
Session 1: October 17, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Session 2: January 9, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Location
Sessions, Equipment Handout, & Parent Meeting will be held at the Martin County
Arena located at the Martin County Fairgrounds.
#7607 Learn to Skate - Learn to Skate provides a fun way for boys and girls of
all ages to learn the fundamentals of ice skating. Learn to Skate will dress in winter
bear. Snow pants for padding and warmth, winter jacket or sweatshirt, skates and
helmet. Fee: $40 per session. Deadline to register: October 17.

5:30 pm - 6:15 pm
#7949 Learn to Play Hockey - is a great way for boys and girls of 3-12 to start
and develop their hockey playing skills. It is really important for Learn to Play
Hockey that participants have basic skating skills. Learn to Play Hockey will wear
full hockey equipment. This includes shoulder pads, elbow & knee pads, gloves,
breezers, skates, helmet, & stick. Fee: $40 per session. Deadline to register:
October 17
