Trainer Courses Trainer Course – Fall Protection OSX 949b CEUs: 0.7 Course Length: 1 Day Fee: $250 Required Prerequisite: OSHA 3115 This course is designed for individuals interested in training employees that may be exposed to fall hazards. Using OSHA standards as a guide, this course places special emphasis on CFR 1926.503(a) Requirements for Training and ANSI Z359.2 Minimum Requirements for a Managed Comprehensive Fall Protection Program. Students will participate in workshops that demonstrate the inspection and use of fall protection equipment, training requirements, and development fall protection training programs. Trainer Courses Trainer Course – Forklift Safety OSX 949 CEUs: 1.6 Course Length: 2 Days Fee: $495 Required Prerequisite: Operator Card This course is designed to develop the skills needed to train forklift operators in compliance with OSHA and Cal/OSHA standards. Classification, safe operation, and OSHA trainer regulations will be emphasized. This course will incorporate the use of Adult Learning Techniques. Upon completion of this course, students will learn the differences between various lift trucks, how to reduce injuries to co-workers and operators, and minimize damage to property and cargo. Students participating in this course will be able to identify appropriate rigging techniques, sling angles and the stresses imposed during rigging operations. Emphasize will be placed on national consensus standards for rigging to include equipment, inspections and rejection criteria. Upon completion of this course students will be able to describe rigger qualifications and training requirements for both OSHA and Cal/OSHA. This course satisfies the requirements for training under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and CFR 1926.
