for 5 years and previously worked in the foundry on <strong>Horwich</strong><br />

Loco Works. He trained at Felixston then went to the the<br />

Dardanelles where he was wounded. When he recovered he<br />

was drafted to France where he was killed in action. He was a<br />

pupil at St Catherines.<br />
