Handling of chemicals The terms permeation, penetration and degradation describe factors that influence the protection against chemicals. PENETRATION Chemikalie Handschuh Penetration Penetration refers to the process by which a solid, liquid or gaseous chemical passes through very small holes, seams or other imperfections of the glove. Haut PERMEATION Chemikalie Handschuh Haut Permeation Permeation describes the process by which a chemical diffuses through intact glove material and moves.
