Woodland Activity Leader
Training with Wild things is
an accredited course jam-packed
with everything you need to
know to lead outdoor learning
lessons and be an inspiring and
confident educator of activities
in the woodland environment.
Accredited as an NCFE Level 2
Award, it offers a less academic,
more practical, and hands-on
alternative to forest school
training.
The course covers a range of
activities and topics, including
the legal roles and requirements
of safely leading groups in the
woodlands and practical bushcraft
skills, including fire lighting, knife
craft, knots and shelters
Friends Gathering - On the
first Thursday of every month at
7pm and a chance for locals and
neighbours to come together and
enjoy good company and lively
discussions over some tea and
biscuits.

share your ideas, and find out how
you can help. It's free - so just pop
