ACTIVITIES
Chinese New Year celebration 2018
This major Chinese festival is always a good
opportunity for our non-Chinese students
to learn more about Chinese culture while
having fun and games. Events such as this are
an important part of the holistic education
journey that we provide for our students.
Global Outdoor classroom day
Students participated in the Global Outdoor
classroom day on 17th May 2018. The objective
was to promote the benefits of outdoor learning;
Outdoor learning is sensory, hands-on and
experiential. It also enhances students’ physical
development, which is crucial at this age. We all
had a lot of fun and will definitely continue to
expose our students to outdoor experiences!

K2 Graduation 2018
Songkran Celebration 2018
Songkran is a time for celebration, as well as a
time to show respect and love to our seniors. At
SISB, we embrace modern concepts but, at the
same time, cherish the culture and traditions
that make us who we are.
Off we go to Primary school! As our K2 graduates
bid farewell to the Nursery-Kindergarten section
on 29th June 2018, another new, exciting adventure
awaits them in Primary School. Our young
graduates are ready and well prepared for the next
stage of their learning journey, and we are sure
that they will do very well.
Nursery-Kindergarten End-Of-Year
Celebration 2018
It was a fitting grand performance to end the
academic year on a high for our kids. Our teachers
and students had a lot of fun putting
up the performances and we sure hope the
audience enjoyed them too!

SISB CSR EL Project: Children’s Day
celebration
Our teachers, students and staff had a great
time celebrating Children’s Day last Saturday
with students from Praram 9 Kanchanapisek
School. We hope everyone had a good time,
and thanks to all who made it possible.
Children’s Day 2018
Thank you everyone, for
making this day special for
our children. Thank you,
our students, for showing
us the joys of being a child.
K2 field trip to Rama 9 temple
Tots Playgroup 2018
Our TOTs playgroup resumed this January
and we have been having a lot of fun
exploring new activities set by the teachers
around the topic of weather. Toddlers
practised their fine motor skills by spooning
rocks out of the water, watering plants with
syringes, using tongs for transferring and
digging in the “snow”. They also explored
colours and textures with ice cubes, paint
and pompoms.
January, all K2 students had the opportunity to visit the nearby
Rama 9 Temple as part of a field trip co-organised by our Thai
department. Students made offerings to the monks, and listened
to the head monk deliver lessons, including guidance on how to
meditate, and also about the importance of respecting parents
and teachers. Students explored the grounds of the temple,
including the flower garden, and a wall dedicated to the projects
of HM King Rama 9. It was a great trip, enjoyed by the students,
teachers, and many parents who joined us.

N1-N2 Sports Days
Our Nursery students enjoyed a morning
full of sporty activities during our N1 and
N2 Sports Days last week! Thank you to all
parents who joined us and had fun playing
or cheering with their child! Congratulations
to the N1 Green Panthers and the N2 Yellow
Cheetahs!
Global School Play Day 2018
NK Department had so much fun celebrating
Global School Play Day (GSPD)
on 7 Feb!! GSPD is an international event
aimed at raising awareness about the
importance of play in children’s learning.
Long Play periods develop children’s
creativity, problem-solving and interpersonal
skills. Play promotes imagination,
independence, risk taking and
confidence! Our NK students brought
one toy and one book from home; they
shared them with all their friends and
had plenty of time to enjoy all kinds of
activities and materials set out for them.
We are already looking forward to doing
it again next year!
K2 Field Trip to Golden Horse
Riding Club
In March, all K2 classes had the chance to visit
the Golden Horse Riding Club in Bangkok.
The children enjoyed an exhilarating show
and learnt about the various pieces of equipment
used in horse riding, such as saddles,
stirrups and reins. It was a first time experience
for many children, and the looks of joy on
their faces was wonderful to see.
Learning about fire safety
On 25th April 2018, the fire department
paid a visit to Pracha
Uthit campus to educate our K1
and K2 students about the importance
of fire safety. Students
were given the opportunity to
put out a fame using a fire extinguisher,
then got to crawl
through a tunnel to simulate
evacuating a building during a
fire. It was an exciting event for
all the children involved, and no
doubt inspiring a few future firefighters
in the process!

P6 Joy

When I first came to
this school, I was a timid
nursery student and
cried my eyes out wanting to go
home. But now, this school is a safe
haven for me and I cannot possibly
vfathom how quickly I will be completing
my Primary education. Although I
wish to stay in touch with all my
friends I know that we will all
eventually go our separate
Secondary school.
From the time I joined SISB
in K2, I have had numerous
teachers and peers. My
lessons have extended beyond
just the classroom and I have gained
so many life experiences, too. I remain
grateful for all that I have learnt
always lend me a helping hand as I
I joined SISB in N2 and since then, I have
learnt so much and grown as a person.
Fortunately for me, I have also met nothing
but supportive and good-natured friends
and teachers. In addition, I also really
respect the effort put into creating
celebrations such as International Week
celebrations such as International Week
and Songkran Celebrations.
The time that I have spent in SISB
is very long and I have learnt a lot
of things from my teachers. Before I know
it, my time in SISB Primary school is ending.
I have had wonderful times and I look
forward to stepping into the next phase
of my life.
My time at SISB primary is
coming to an end, and I
have accumulated lots of
memories. I joined this school in
Primary 5, Term 2. I was shy to
approach people but soon my peers made
an effort to come and talk to me. Soon, I
was surrounded by friends. I then
discovered there was a Thai
Instument band in this school. I
joined and have performed on
many occasions. I would like to
thank my teachers and friends
who have shown me nothing
but warmth.
I joined SISB in K2. SISB is
a good place. I have learnt
lots of things in SISB. Time
has flown past me. Now, I am very
grateful for my friends and family
and I am going to graduate to
Secondary school soon. I hope
to create more new memories
in SISB.
Time has whizzed past me this past
year. I remain grateful for my caring
teachers and supportive friends. I have
many friends in SISB who are friendly and
funny. Staying in boarding has made me
more independent and I feel the lessons
in SISB have made me knowledgeable.
in SISB have made me knowledgeable.
With my continued stay in SISB, I am certain
that, one day, I will attain a high
level of English..
I joined SISB in K1 and, now, I am in
Primary 6, on the last lap of my
Primary school education. My friends
have come and gone and although I do
not keep in touch with them, I still have
fond memories of them. I have learnt a lot
academically and I look forward to more
academically and I look forward to more
personal growth in Secondary school..
I may have been in SISB for
only two terms, but I feel
like I have grown both
academically and socially.
My friends and teachers have
helped me adjust to this new experience.
The last school I went to had a very
different way of teaching. Although,
initially, the EMS approach style
of teaching took some getting used
to, I am fond of it now. I look
forward to more years
with SISB!
I joined when I was in N1
and have remained here
ever since. My friends are
simply the best. They share the same
interest in football as I do. Teachers
like T. Steve have shown support for
my love in the sport and I also
my love in the sport and I also
admire the fact that, here, I can
strike a balance between studies
and play.
I joined SISB in Primary 2.
I have met many new friends
who always support me.
through many problems with them and
they have never left me. My English and
Chinese have also improved ever since I
joined SISB. I remain thankful to my
teachers and peers and words cannot
express how much I enjoy SISB.
Pannapat
I remain baffled at the
thought that I am almost
finishing my Primary
I have met so many kind teachers
about SISB is the residential trip.
I joined SISB just one year ago.
Despite that, I have learnt so much
already. In addition, I have also met
many new friends and teachers. Having
participated in activities like Wai Kru
a lot about being confident and active. I look
forward to my continued stay in SISB!
Since I enrolled in SISB, I feel that
time has passed so fast. I have learnt
many things, and I have so many memories
in SISB with my friends and best friends.
I would like to thank all my teachers who
have taught me and given me knowledge
and experience to try the things that I would
not have otherwise. I would also like to
thank my family for choosing SISB for me.
Well, how time has flown past
me. It has been four years since I
joined SISB. The teachers and students
here have helped me so much with my
learning. I adore the teachers here as
they are mostly funny and make lessons
easy to understand. I have to say that
easy to understand. I have to say that
without the support of my peers and
teachers, it might have been difficult
surviving primary school.
I have been here for only one year
but I have grown mentally and socially.
I have learnt various subjects during
my time in SISB. I like the Residential Trip
at Rayong - it was so fun and very exciting.
Besides that, I also stay in boarding which
is great. This year, I also attended
is great. This year, I also attended
interesting activities, such as the
basketball tournament. I feel thankful
for my friends and teachers for my many
experiences and I feel very confident
going to Secondary school..
I am amazed at how time flies!
It feels like just yesterday that
I was in K1 but now I am on the last
lap of my primary education.
Although I have had some rough
times, I am learning how to be an
independent individual and SISB
allows me to do just that.
I really like that in SISB
there is an emphasis on
Mathematics. It is a subject
I excel in and I truly enjoying
basking in that glory. Apart
from that, I enjoy the interaction
and play time with my friends here.
The memories that I have
gathered in SISB Primary
are timeless. These
experiences have moulded
me into being more confident
and responsible. I feel
well-equipped to step
well-equipped to step
into the next stage of
me the memories and laughter
I have shared with my friends
and teachers.
My time in SISB Primary school
is coming to an end. Time has
zoomed past me. I still remember
my first day in school, and I was
very shy, but now I have many friends.
My friends have helped me through
a lot, through my ups and downs, and
a lot, through my ups and downs, and
my teachers, too. I want to thank
each and every one of my friends
and teachers. I will always keep
them all in my heart.
My time in SISB Primary
is ending soon. These good
memories will be remembered
and never be forgotten.
I appreciate all the people, principals
teachers and every staff of this school
who have attempted to do everything well
for us. It is also wonderful to see SISB
expand and improve its facilities. I'm
confident of gathering more good
memories in time to come!.
There is a saying - "It takes
a village to raise a child".
But for my case, it is a school.
SISB has taught me many things.
Without everyone's support I would not
be the person I am today. I have grown
academically mentally and socially.
I would like to thank my parents
teachers and friends as these are the
people who have always kept me
cheerful and eager to learn.
Stepping into the next stage of
my life, I will use all the skills
I have acquired to reach greater
academic excellence!.
Time flies by so quickly, it feels like
it was just yesterday when I first
There were some difficult and tough
times but with the help and support
Throughout these years, I have gotten
to know many friends from all walks
of life and different backgrounds.
All of us would often hang out together
at Mugs and Hugs after school
chit-chatting about our day while doing
our homework. These are my fondest
our homework. These are my fondest
memories of my primary school life!
I am a little apprehensive moving on
to secondary school but I am confident
that I will be able to handle anything
that comes my way.
I came into SISB not knowing
a single person and with somewhat
poor communication skills. All these
soon changed. I have made many friends
I joined SISB in Primary 1
and initially I felt like an
I adjusted well and made many friends.
Through the residential trips, I formed
a closer bond with my friends and made
I can do with my friends. Initially
I thought that the lessons
It is safe to say that in my eyes
SISB deserves the title
"My Second Home". I have been studying
at SISB for the past 7 years - since
Kindergarten 1. During my lower
primary years, I met many good friends
who have remained my closest confidants
today. In my opinion, my time at SISB has
been very rewarding and it has given
me the confidence for my future life
in secondary school.
I have learnt a lot in
my few years at SISB. I can
still remember vividly my first
hard to adjust to the new and unfamiliar
My favourite subject is Math.
My passion for mathematics has
paved the way for me to
My favourite would be the school
residential trips, especially the Primary 6 Resi Trip.
It was a fun-filled 3 days and 2 nights of bonding
with my closest friends. SISB has been an immensely
fun experience for me.
This year has been truly
memorable for me. I was voted
time working with the other class
committee members. The Primary 6
one and I will carry these memories in
My first memory of SISB was
joining K2 seven years ago.
I was scared - a new school
and my English was not
very good. Primary 1 and
Primary 2 were quite easy
but the teachers changed every year.
The rest of the years were a blur and
in Primary 4, I became a Prefect, which
gave me the chance to do charity work.
I love sports and enjoy playing
basketball with friends from
I look forward to graduating and
In SISB, I am exposed to more
English and English lessons, which is
something I look forward to.
The lessons here are pretty engaging
and my schoolmates are easy to get
along with. I hope that my leap
to Secondary school will be
just as pleasant.
Having joined SISB when I was a mere
five-year-old, I cannot believe that
I am about to complete my Primary
education! Although I will surely
miss the freedom of playing basketball
with my friends knowing that
Secondary school life will be
Secondary school life will be
much busier, I feel well-prepared!
I have been in SISB for
a year now. I was really
shy on the first day when
I met strangers. I have to say
my English teacher, T. Kavi
rattled me a little when she said
that I have to speak English during
lessons. Well, I am well-adjusted now
with many good memories. One of
my fondest memory is when I won
a huge soft toy during International
Week. I look forward to continuing
my journey in SISB.
I spent my first day in SISB just
tagging along to one class. In my
time here in Primary school
I have had little incidents but
I am glad to say that my friends
have always been there for me
I also have supportive teachers
and we often share a good laugh together.
I have studied in Taiwan and Singapore before
and this is the third country I have lived in.
Although I was slightly nervous
I realised that my previous experiences
helped me to cope.
I took part in various shows
during my time in SISB, and I
was even chosen to be a class
chairperson once! Through these
experiences, I picked up skills
beyond reading and writing.
Besides, the lessons here are also
Besides, the lessons here are also
enriching. Thank you, SISB
for providing a wonderful
environment for me to grow up in.
Despite having been in SISB for only
a year, I feel like I have grown so
comfortable with my friends and
teachers. Everyone has just been so
warm and cordial that I laugh thinking
back at how anxious I felt on
my first day. I surely have a few fond
my first day. I surely have a few fond
memories to hold on to for a long time!
I have been in SISB for
almost a year now. I feel
that in SISB, I can be my playful
self, interact with friends and
yet study to the best of my abilities.
Having a good blend of work and play
keeps me sane and I feel very confident
I have been in SISB for quite
a while now. My brother is
here, too! I have many special
memories but some of the moments
I treasure every day is being able
to play simple games such as "Catch"
with my friends. We all get along well
and I have also learnt
a lot about tolerance.
Having moved here from
a Thai-Japanese school
the method of teaching and
speaking here in SISB was a
culture shock for me.
Thankfully, I was embraced by
warm teachers and helpful friends.
I hope that I carry on learning
the way I do, and walk away
with loads of knowledge!
I enjoy SISB mostly because
of the sports programmes
here. I am an individual who
likes to be active and, in SISB, I have
plenty of friends who enjoy sports.
In addition, the school also has
spacious fields and ample space
for me to play football.
What more can I ask for?.
I respect SISB for its focus
on academics. Programmes
such as EAS help students
like me catch up on missed
work and any other work
that I may be struggling to
keep up with. I enjoy playing
keep up with. I enjoy playing
basketball with my friends
and I also love the fact that
I get to participate in talent
shows. I hope to continue
my journey in SISB for years
to come.
As a cheerful person, I love how I am
surrounded by good-spirited friends
in SISB. I can turn to my teachers or
friends here at any time of the day
and they will always be there to
give me a helping hand. Some of my best
moments in SISB are making new friends
and learning about them. I will surely
remember all my friends, teachers and
the people who have supported me
from my very first day here.
Being a Prefect, taking part
in basketball tournaments
presenting Thai speeches are
just some of the fond memories
I have here. The cherry on the cake
was when I was selected to be
a Thai Valedictorian. What an honour!
I have realised the leadership
qualities within me. The student
cohort here is very friendly and
the teachers are remarkable.
Thank you, SISB, for being such
an embracing and
nurturing place.
It feels like I know SISB inside out
having joined here since
the school well by being
a part of the Thai music and dance
team and by performing in an
ample number of events.
Through my time here
I have gained much knowledge
not just in terms of studies
not just in terms of studies
but also on how to get along
with a diverse range of peers..
I have been in SISB since N1.
The school has grown so
much and things seem to be
getting bigger and better.
I enjoy the fact that SISB
lets me be myself and no one
pressures me into doing anything
pressures me into doing anything
patient and my friends are tolerant.
I look forward to many more years
I have been in SISB for three years now.
I have met kind teachers as well as
