CRAVE, a not for profit group routinely<br />
creates festive DANCE Venues for the<br />
Lesbian community and beyond. CRAVE<br />
hosts dances that benefit other non profit<br />
organizations in the Coachella Valley, like<br />
Well in the Desert, and the L-Fund.<br />
The parties reflect the optimism and enthusiasm<br />
of founder, Beverly Sweigart.<br />
Beverly and her partner, Edie Grossi,<br />
are two of the most bright and colorful<br />
gems of the Desert. The CRAVE group is<br />
constantly striving to make not only some<br />
fun, but some GOOD for the community<br />
at large. Their recent benefit for the<br />
Well in the Desert brought in $1200 and<br />
other clothing and food donations for the<br />
cause.<br />

The L-Fund is a Lesbian philanthropic<br />
group, founded in 2012. It serves Lesbians<br />
in financial need. It assists Lesbians<br />
in the Coachella Valley, Moreno Valley,<br />
Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley and 29 Palms<br />
to resolve short-term financial crises,<br />
unlike traditional social service or financial<br />
aid agencies that deal with long-term<br />
assistance.<br />
