The Veteran’s Dream is an<br />
Opera, based on a poem, written in<br />
2012 by Francesca Murray-Mattei.<br />
The opera is a series of reflections and<br />
impressions of WW1 and importantly,<br />
the hope for a peaceful future. There<br />
will be music and dialogue, performed<br />
by members of the local communities<br />
and friends from farther afield.<br />

Mary’s Church to acknowledge their<br />
very generous support for the opera<br />
and The Royal British Legion, whose work for former service personnel<br />
and their families is well-known and respected.<br />
The opera will take place at St Mary’s Church, <strong>Gillingham</strong> on<br />
13 th <strong>October</strong> <strong>2018</strong> at 2.30 p.m.<br />
