presented by First in Flight, a Women<br />
in Aviation International Chapter<br />
and Gillium-McConnell Airfi eld! First<br />
in Flight is a non-profi t organization<br />
dedicated to supporting women in<br />
the aviation industry through providing<br />
support and scholarships to<br />
young women getting started in the<br />
aviation fi eld. Women in Aviation International<br />
has chosen <strong>October</strong> 13th,<br />
2018 as the Girls in Aviation Day!<br />
First in Flight has organized a day<br />
where young girls between the ages<br />
of 8 - 17 can come out to participate<br />

in aviation related events. The day will<br />
begin with all the participants at 9:20<br />
am outside on the lawn at the Gilliam-McConnel<br />
Airfi eld. Please show<br />
up around 8:30am to sign-in. From<br />
there we will break up into groups of<br />
your choosing to explore each activity<br />
station that range from an aircraft<br />
display, learning about weight & balance,<br />
and more!<br />
The event will have bbq style food<br />
available made by Pik-n-Pig. We will<br />
also have a raffl e to win great prizes!<br />

retirees have been eliminated, leaving<br />
most other retirement income taxable<br />
