TV-Shop<br />
The turnaround in <strong>2002</strong> was achieved through<br />
a combination of renegotiating expensive<br />
airtime contracts, whereby TV-Shop paid third<br />
party broadcasters or channels for off-peak<br />
airtime on analog networks, and the<br />
restructuring of the company to reduce costs<br />
and focus on more profitable product lines.<br />

This reorganization provides a stable platform<br />
from which to grow the business in 2003.<br />
PIN24 is a 24-hour-a-day home shopping<br />
TV channel that currently reaches almost<br />
24 million households in eight countries. The<br />
channel was launched in 2000 on the BSkyB<br />
TV platform in the UK and has subsequently<br />
been launched on the Viasat digital DTH TV<br />
platform in Scandinavia. A German-language<br />
format of the PIN24 channel was launched<br />
in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via the<br />
Astra satellite during <strong>2002</strong>, reaching 13 million<br />
