Season.<br />
For over 55 years, the Xaverian<br />
Missionaries at Fatima<br />
Shrine have observed the<br />
Christmas Season with a beautiful<br />
display of lights, framed<br />
light structures, and inspiring<br />
message panels. This year will<br />
continue the tradition of celebrating<br />
the Good News of<br />
Christ’s birth with lights on<br />
well over 50% of the Shrine’s<br />
30 acres.<br />
Beginning with Sat. Dec.<br />
1 and continuing until Thurs.<br />
Dec. 27, the Lights of Fatima<br />
Shrine with background Christmas<br />
music will be on from 5<br />

The Shrine’s Gift Shop will<br />

the Festival of Lights. Many<br />
unique and spiritual Christmas<br />
items perfect for gift-giving are<br />
available at this time.<br />
The 25th annual “Peace on<br />
Earth” Pasta Supper will be<br />
held in Xavier Hall on Saturday<br />
Dec. 8th beginning at 5<br />
p.m. A visit from Santa and<br />
“raffles galore” highlight this<br />
pasta and meatball supper with<br />
bread, salad and dessert. Tickets<br />
are $8 per adult and $4 per<br />
child under ten and may be<br />
purchased after the 11 a.m.<br />
Sunday Mass (at noon) in the<br />
chapel or at the door. Enjoy the<br />
Festival of Lights after dinner.<br />
A traditional Christmas<br />
Concert will be held on Sunday<br />
Dec. 9th beginning at 3<br />
p.m. The Saint Cecilia’s Choir<br />
from Ashland, under the direction<br />
of Lelia Tenreyro-Viana,<br />
will again delight music lovers<br />
and ignite the true Christmas<br />
spirit. All are invited to this free<br />
concert. Following the concert,<br />
there will be a procession in<br />
which the statue of the Infant<br />
Jesus will be placed in the manger<br />
in the Grotto on Shrine<br />
grounds.<br />
All are welcome to come to<br />
any of these events to celebrate<br />
the true meaning of Christmas.<br />
Annual Hope for Heroes<br />
Donation Drive Supported<br />
by Thanks to Yanks<br />
A donation drive to help Veterans and<br />
deployed troops<br />
Thanks To Yanks is pleased to be sponsoring the annual Hope for<br />
Heroes Donation Drive from <strong>November</strong> 8-11th, <strong>2018</strong>. This donation<br />
drive will be collecting items for veterans residing at various Veteran<br />
homeless shelters; transitional living centers; long-term care facilities;<br />
and care packages for deployed troops.<br />

Thanks To Yanks, is a non-political 501(c)(3) organization whose<br />
mission is to support military members, veterans and their families.<br />
Founded in 2006 as a onetime 9/11 Tribute Dinner to recognize the<br />
sacrifices military families endured in response to the attacks. Now, as<br />
an all-volunteer organization, Thanks To Yanks provides resources,<br />
connects the community with programs and identifies gaps in service<br />
