BACKCOUNTRY JOURNAL
DISTRIBUTORS
BHA is excited to announce a new partnership
program with which businesses that support
- and are supported by - public lands can offer
Backcountry Journal for free to their customers.
You get a box of journals direct from the print
shop at each quarterly printing, a display rack,
a “This Business Supported by Public Lands”
window decal and a listing in Backcountry
Journal. Email sam@backcountryhunters.org to
find out more!
WAYS TO GIVE
ONLINE
You can always make secure, online donations
through our web portal. Facebook also makes it easy
to donate to BHA and get your friends involved on
your birthday or special holidays.
PLANNED GIVING
Planned giving will allow our members to make
larger gifts than they could using ordinary income.
There are three basic types of planned gifts:
-Using appreciated assets (stocks, equity, real estate,
etc.) in lieu of cash is an outright gift.
-Gifts that offer financial benefit return, provide
some form of income or benefit to the donor in return
for their contribution.
-Bequests are gifts that are written into the donor’s
will and are payable after the donor is deceased.
MEMORIAL
Honor hunting partners and family with a gift in
their name. There is no better way to celebrate their
life than with a gift that will help BHA fight to preserve
the lands that generate so many memories.
IN MEMORIAM
DENNIS “DENNY” MCFALL
Trusted friend.
Fireside raconteur.
Gentle mountain soul.
May you forever ride
the glorious bow
down the wilderness
rivers of the next life.
Your friends we
remain.
and kayak life member premiums at
backcountry hunters.org/join
These options provide considerable tax benefits to
the donor. Please call Development Director Todd
Barton at (406) 580-5688 with any questions!
Why become a life member of BHA? For me it’s a no
brainer. There is no other conservation organization with
as much momentum and potential as BHA. The public
land opportunities for recreation in the United States are
incredible today and I want to ensure future generations
have the same opportunities that I have. BHA’s mission is in
line with protecting and enhancing access, improving habitat
and education to ensure the sporting life can be maintained
well into the future.
