Symptoms are; A high mood, talking and thinking too much or to quickly, a low mood that can cause loss of appetite, troubles sleeping, difficulty concentrating, a depressed mood, and it can also cause you to sleep too much or not enough. It causes anxiety, suspeciousness, withdrawal from family and friends, delusions/hallucinations. I had started to fall out with my close loved , ones one by one I was pushing them away from me as I started not to trust no one at all. I became extremely scared to be alone, I believed that I was possessed, which 19 years later when i gave my life to Jesus Christ, i found out that I was possessed which I have now received deliverance from in Jesus name. When I was having a breakdown my mum and auntie kept ringing the Mental Health out-patients to book an appointment for me to be seen by a doctor. At this stage I still thought there was nothing wrong with me. When I was eventually seen by a doctor for the first time extremely scared that the doctor would say that I had to stay in a Mental Health hospital so when the Psychiatric Doctor asked me questions about my mental state I was not honest at all. So after my appointment with the Doctor he let me to go back home with my mum and aunt. They were extremely annoyed with the doctor for not prescribing me any medication to help me sleep and feel more stable. REVIEWS Because my mum and auntie had spent much more time with me than the doctor had done they knew i needed medication quickly because they knew I was heading for a huge nervous breakdown. I eventually ended up in hospital. My family and friends came to see me, even though I still trusted no one. Once the medication started to take effect I began to feel more stable. The downside was i felt numb and like a zombie. Everything around me seemed to be going in slow motion. The medication only suppressed the symptoms, it never cured me. Some of the symptoms was still there but at least the medication stopped my thoughts from racing. My mind was still tormented by fear. Fear is not of God, it is of the devil. God is love. 1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love but perfect love cast out all fear because fear has torment, he that fears is not made perfect in love" I definitely wasn't made perfect in love as I never knew Jesus at that point in my life I never knew much about Jesus and I definitely did not have a relationship with Jesus at this stage. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind". Now that i am a follower of Jesus , looking back now with a much better spiritual understanding, i thank God for, I now know the spirit world is very much so real and I believe when a person has a mental breakdown, when they are in a psychosis state because they have allowed the spirit of fear to enter them.
