SCENIC SUSSEX Some great images to share with you this time, Autumn really does present some great photo opportunities. Colourful leaves, spectacular sunsets & sunrises and moody, stormy seas. Great to see that so many of our readers have been out there snapping. As we enter winter, a whole new range of subjects open up, frost and snow can make familiar objects & landscapes look otherworldly, so make sure you get snapping and send us your favourite images for the next issue! A spectacular burst of Autumn colour sent in by John Shipp. Taken in the gardens of Sheffield Park. 2. Leafless trees provide an interesting foreground to this sunset shot, taken in Hailsham by Mary Potts. 3. Another take on Autumnal foliage, I took this shot myself at St Helens Wood in Hastings. 4. A wonderfully moody, atmospheric shot of Eastbourne seafront as seen from the pier. Mik Sims. Some wonderful low clouds hanging over Beachy Head in the distance. 5. This “worms eye view” shot was taken at Bedgebury Pinetum by Carlotta. 6. Sent in by Sue, this image captures a thunderous wave crashing onto the beach at Eastbourne.
