HASTINGS STORY TELLING<br />

FESTIVAL<br />

5th to 11th <strong>November</strong>,<br />

Since 2011 we`ve been on a mission<br />

to open the wonderful world of<br />

storytelling to everyone.<br />

Hastings Storytelling Festival is a<br />

registered charity and supported by<br />

Arts Council England. It features live<br />

storytelling for adults and children.<br />

Spoken word, dance, puppetry,<br />

parades, theatre and digital media.<br />

With a different storyteller in residence<br />

each year and so many events on<br />

in different venues throughout this<br />

CENTENARY REMEMBRANCE<br />

A special ceremony marking the<br />

centenary of the end of WW1 at<br />

12:30. Following the ceremony a<br />

steam hauled train will make a special<br />

journey to Bodiam Station. The train<br />

has a wheelchair accessible ramp and<br />

there are some seats available for<br />

wheelchair users which must be prebooked<br />

Pasadena Roof Orchestra ‘Hot<br />

Five’ return to Bexhill for<br />

charity concert<br />

Saturday 17 <strong>November</strong> AT 7.30PM<br />

Lovers of foot-stomping popular music<br />

from the 1920s and ‘30s are in for a special<br />

treat when the acclaimed Pasadena Roof<br />

Orchestra ‘Hot Five’ return to Bexhill for a<br />

charity concert at St Augustine’s Church.<br />

They will perform a programme of timeless<br />

music from composers such as George<br />

Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin<br />

originally made famous by the likes of<br />

Duke Ellington, Hoagy Carmichael, Louis<br />

Armstrong and Fats Waller.<br />

Tickets cost £12.50, and include a glass of<br />

wine during the interval.<br />
