Award of Diploma Points<br />
Each student is awarded a grade of 1-7 for each subject. In addition, a maximum<br />
of three bonus points are awarded according to a candidate’s combined<br />
performance in the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge. A student needs at<br />
least 24 points to be awarded<br />
The total number of bonus points awarded is determined by the combination of the<br />
performance levels achieved, based on this matrix:<br />
