After IGCSEs – What Next?
1) Study for the IB Diploma – students who have the IB Diploma have a
much greater choice about where to go to university. Our IB graduates
have gone on to study in the UK, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore,
India, and many other countries.
2) In 2016, the Thai government announced that students with only IGCSEs
could not join Thai universities. This is because the level of study is not
high enough. Therefore, a pre-university course such as IB is ideal as it is
academically more challenging than IGCSE and also better prepares
students for university life.
How to enter IB

To start studying for the IB Diploma, students need to have 5 or more
IGCSEs (grade A*-C). This must include at least a C at IGCSE English
and Mathematics. Students who do not pass IGCSE English or
Mathematics subjects may start the IB Diploma (if they have 5 or more
passes) but will be required to re-take the relevant IGCSE during IB1.
To start studying for IB Courses, students need to have 3 or more
IGCSEs (grade A*-C).
