SECURITY UPDATE This is a contingency /emergency plan for Blue Hills Equestrian Estate over the festive season. This plan’s purpose is to ensure the safety and security of residents as well as visitors over this festive period, build strong relationships and provide a good service to the residents of The Estate. 18 BLUE HILLS NOVEMBER '18 SITE MANAGER The Site Manager will do frequent spot checks on the site ensuring every officer is well equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties 100% at all times. Site Manager will liaise with the Area Manager as well as the General Manager and ensure that all necessary information are shared to them at all times. The Site Manager must ensure that NO violations whatsoever occur and must also take the necessary disciplinary actions if need be. After gathering all necessary information, the Site Manager must ensure that the Estate Manager is kept in the loop regarding any incident. Site Manager to ensure all officers are up to date with the SOP of the Estate in performing their duties and to ensure they adhere to it at all times. The Site Manager must ensure that officers are always neat and properly dressed and professional in performing duties onsite, whereby NO intoxication and or drug abuse whatsoever may occur on-site. Site Manager must ensure NO absenteeism in any manner occurs and must also take the necessary disciplinary steps against any violator’s on-site. REACTION OFFICERS ESTATE NEWS Reaction Officers will ensure frequent patrols are done on the Estate ensuring all Hot Spot checks are done daily in order to ensure no security perimeter fence breaches occur. Reaction Officers will ensure frequent OB entries are done and everything out of the ordinary as well as all incidents are reported to the Site Manager. Reaction Officers will do frequent construction building checks /houses still under construction will be checked daily to ensure no unauthorised persons are hiding out inside houses. Daily construction house checks list will be completed as per confirmation and checked by the Site Manager.
Reaction Officers will ensure daily Thermal Camera checks are completed in order to confirm whether cameras are still operational. Reaction Officers will ensure outer perimeter fence checks are done every other day and will report in OB as per confirmation. Rapid Response crew will do site visits every other day to ensure that backup is provided to Reaction Officers on the Estate if need be. Reaction Officers will do light checks every second evening (Night Shift Crew) and all reports will be checked by the Site Manager. Reaction Officers will assist main gate controllers if need be. All delivery trucks should be escorted regardless of who and where the delivery trucks are delivering to in the Estate. No exceptions. Reaction Officers will at all times ensure visibility with strobe lights turned on. Any after hour arrival of any resident or visitor at the main gate should be brightly lit allowing persons to get out of their vehicles safely and pass through the main gate safely as well. CONTROL ROOM OFFICERS Controllers will ensure that all cameras are in working condition and report all incidents directly to the Site Manager. Controllers will ensure day/night camera checks are performed. Controllers to report every incident into OB book for perusal. Controllers to ensure all equipment inside control room are in good working condition at all times. Controllers to report immediately to the Site Manager if any equipment is not operational ACCESS CONTROLLERS /MAIN GATE Must ensure that they adhere to the Main Gate access control procedure in accordance with the SOP at all times. No access will be granted to any visitors without proper confirmation from the resident or proper scanning of the visitor’s vehicle. No violation and or deviation from the access control procedures will be tolerated. Access Control Officers will ensure to fill out the Access Control Register at all times regardless of who the visitors are whereby all information must be recorded into Access Control Register. No exceptions. Officers must ensure to be polite and professional as well as to be helpful at all times when dealing with residents as well as visitors at the main gate. On arrival of residents and or visitors after hours, an Access Control Officer must always step outside with a panic button in hand ensuring safe entry at all times. Big Gates should also be closed after a resident and or visitor gains entry into the Estate after hours. 19 BLUE HILLS NOVEMBER '18
