A £40 per person deposit is payable to secure your seat. Your
balance payment is due 6 weeks before departure. If you are
booking within 6 weeks of departure full payment is required.
If your holiday includes Home Collection we will write to you 2 weeks
before departure to advise your collection time.

reclining seats, armrests, tinted glass and seat belts.
Our fleet is maintained independently to the highest of standards –
the safety of our passengers is our number one priority.
We take great pride in the presentation of every vehicle and ensure they
are spotless when you step on board for your holiday.

Throughout the
brochure you will
notice that our Home
Collection Service is
indicated on some of
the tours. On these holidays you will
be collected and returned to your
home via a taxi organised by us. On these tours we operate a limited
amount of pick up places ensuring that your holiday will start and end
efficiently. To qualify for the free Home Collection Service you must live in
the area from Poole to Lymington and south of Ferndown.

Where our Home Collection Service is not included we operate a
comprehensive selection of local collection points. We only collect
from the local area so there will be no waiting at motorway services
for other vehicles. The vehicle that collects you will be the only
vehicle you will travel on during your holiday.

The amazing spectacle of Keukenhof Gardens is situated in a
huge 32 hectare park of trees, ponds and fountains and is
often described as ‘the greatest flower display on Earth’. In
the spring, millions of tulips, hyancinths and daffodils burst
in to bloom covering large areas of the gardens and
attracting visitors from all over the world. This holiday
includes entrance to Keukenhof Gardens plus a full day
excursion to Amsterdam. Our excellent value breaks to the
Dutch Bulbfields have always been popular offering a good
quality hotel located within easy driving distance of
Keukenhof allowing for plenty of time to explore the
gardens. Beware cheaper alternatives, staying in cheap
hotels and hours from the gardens. Book early !!
Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your
local pick up point around 6.00/7.00am
we travel to Folkestone with comfort
stop before joining the Eurotunnel.
Continuing to arrive at the hotel in
Holland early evening with a welcome
glass of beer, wine or soft drink
included before dinner.
DAY 2: Today we have an excursion to
Amsterdam with plenty of time to
explore the cultural centre of this
wonderful destination. We drop near
the centre with easy access to popular
sights like Dam Square, Anne Frank’s
House (best pre-booked) and the tourist
boats to explore the city from the
hundreds of canals which criss-cross the
centre. Excellent transport links to other
attractions including the Rijksmuseum
and the Van Gogh Museum. One of the
great cities of Europe.
DAY 3: After breakfast we depart for
Keukenhof Gardens which is
approximately 1 1 ⁄4 hours away. Entrance
to the gardens is included in the price
of your holiday. We shall stay at the
park for the whole day, so plenty of
time to explore this extraordinary visual
feast for the senses. Returning to the
hotel early evening.
DAY 4: We leave the hotel and head
home – stopping for lunch before
boarding the early afternoon
Eurotunnel. Arriving back in the local
area at approx 7.00pm..

National Memorial Arboretum
The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round
centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which
honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and
fosters pride in our country.
The Arboretum is part of The Royal British Legion family of charities
and is set in the pleasant Staffordshire countryside between Litchfield
and Burton-upon-Trent. Visitors enjoy a wide variety of trees, many of
which have a relevance to the memorials around them. Planting started
in 1997 and there are already over 50,000 trees planted over the 150
acre site. Conceived as a living tribute to the war time generations of
the 20th Century, the Arboretum is a reminder for future generations to

Itinerary
DAY 1: Departing your local pick-up
point approximately 9.00am, we shall
have an extended lunch stop at
Stratford upon Avon before continuing
on to the hotel. Arriving late afternoon
with time to relax and maybe take a

DAY 2: After breakfast we make the
short trip to the National Memorial
Arboretum where we shall stay until
3.30pm. There is no admission charge,
but donations will be gratefully
accepted. Lunch can be taken in the
Arbour Restaurant. Returning back to
the local area around 7.30pm with

away from it all. The town is surrounded by the stunning South Downs
with a wealth of excursion possibilities in the region. We are delighted
to be returning to the excellent 4* Langham Hotel.

in to 1066 country. Discover the
remarkable history of this region which
has played such an important role in
shaping the fortunes of Britain. Plenty

DAY 3: Time for you to relax around
the hotel and explore the town. The
hotel is located on the level seafront
promenade, close to the Redoubt
Fortress & Pavillion with walks
through the seafront parks to enjoy.
The walk along the seafront to the
Pier and the town centre shops takes
10 to 15 minutes.
DAY 4: Today we have a popular
excursion to – Borde Hill Gardens.
Borde Hill is a superb garden, set in
200 acres of the Sussex High Weald
with magnificent views across the
Ouse Valley Viaduct. Described as

there is a wealth of herbaceous
borders, a fine collection of trees, an
Italian Garden and much more.

DAY 5: Sadly, we leave Eastbourne
and head home, stopping in the
historic town of Chichester for lunch
before returning to the local area

home by our home collection service.

restaurant with 3 courses and choice of menu. Subject to minimum numbers

DAY 2: Superb day out to one of our
most popular gardens. Mid morning we
depart for award winning Pashley
Manor Gardens. This quintessentially
English garden is a ‘Garden of the year’
winner and is located on the Sussex
High Weald AONB in the heart of
England’s garden county. Pashley offers
a sumptuous blend of romantic
landscaping, imaginative plantings and
fine old trees, fountains, springs and
large ponds – Entrance included.
Superb café renowned for quality
homemade food.
DAY 3: In the morning we head for the
delightful medieval town of Rye. Plenty
of time to explore the medieval streets
and buildings, and find somewhere nice
for lunch before we head on to
Hastings. Head for the Old Town and
explore the narrow lanes lined with a
lovely selection of shops and cafes,
beautiful Alexandra Park or the
St Leonards area with its elegant
atmosphere.
DAY 4: Time for you to relax around the
hotel and explore the town. The hotel is
located just a 5 minute walk to the Wish
Tower on the seafront with the
delightful seafront gardens and is also
very close to the central high street
shops, restaurants and facilities.
DAY 5: Sadly, we leave Eastbourne and
head home, stopping in the historic
town of Chichester for lunch before
returning to the local area around
3.00/4.00pm.
New Wilmington Hotel HHH
One of the highest rated 3* hotels
in Eastbourne, the New Wilmington
enjoys a reputation for quality
accommodation and good levels of
friendly service and food. There will
also be some evening entertainment
during our stay. The bar, restaurant
and public areas of the hotel are all
decorated to a high standard –
perfect for a relaxing break. The
Hotel is situated only a 5 minute
walk from the seafront and close to
the town centre shops and
attractions. The bedrooms are well

Cornish Gardens Adventure
The mild coastal climate has blessed Cornwall with some of
the finest gardens in the country. Join our 5 day Spring
holiday as we tour the county to see some of the very best
of them.
Many of the gardens were built as a result of the great Victorian plant
hunting expeditions, leaving a lasting legacy for us to enjoy today.
And there is a great variety to explore – from woodland gardens to
landscaped parkland and spectacular sub-tropical glades – there is
something of interest for everyone. Many of these gardens should be
at their very best at this time of year plus there is plenty of lovely
countryside and rugged coastal landscapes to enjoy on route. We are
returning to the excellent 3* Esplanade Hotel, a quality hotel which
enjoys fantastic ocean views over Fistral Beach on the outskirts of
Newquay. We have a full itinerary for this holiday – this added to the
topography of some of the destinations means that sadly this holiday
may not be suitable for all. All entrance fees are included in the price.
Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your local pick up point (approx 8.00am) we
have refreshment stops as required before arriving at the hotel late afternoon.
Time to settle in to the hotel and hopefully enjoy your first sunset from the
beachfront lounge!
DAY 2 We start our Cornish Garden adventure at nearby Trewithen Gardens. Set
around an elegant 17th century manor house, Trewithen offers an amazing
variety of trees with woodland walks. Spring brings a riot of colour, with early
flowering Magnolias, Rhododendrons and Camellias. From here we head south
to Trebah Gardens. These amazing subtropical
gardens near to Falmouth are
world famous – covering a spectacular
26 acres and descending 200 feet
through a wonderful tropical valley to
the Helford river. The gardens have a
staggering variety of plants and trees
including 100 year old rhododendrons,
magnolias and camellias.
DAY 3 Today we head to Trelissick.
Close to Truro, this remarkable National
Trust property boasts wonderful views of
the beautiful Fal Estuary. With incredible
spring blooms and noted for its
camellias and rhododendrons the
40-acre garden is part of 375-acres of
parkland with an extensive range of
trails through woodland – wonderful
place to explore. Inside the house there
is a renowned art gallery with a wide
range of work from local Cornish artists.
The café offers a delicious range of light
refreshments and hot lunches. Plenty of
time to enjoy here before we have a
short stop in Cornwall’s county town,
Truro. It’s a vibrant centre of shopping,
culture and impressive architecture
including the gothic towers of the

North Devon Beautiful Coast
A superb value holiday, enjoying some of the finest scenery
to be had, anywhere in Britain. The dramatic, rugged
coastline of the North Devon Coast, where the cliffs seem to
dive in to the sea is quite stunning - on a clear day you can
see over to South Wales.
There are some terrific excursion destinations to explore, all with lovely
countryside to see on route. We stay in the centre of Ilfracombe, a town
which has received a noticeable boost in the last few years largely

was the family home of Winston Churchill. The rooms remain much as they were
when he lived here, with pictures, books and personal mementoes. The
beautiful hillside gardens reflect Sir Winston’s love of the landscape and nature.
We head on to Knole – NT property. Originally an archbishop’s palace, Knole is
a magnificent 600 year old estate with grand courtyards, tranquil Orangery and
parkland, still populated by wild deer. Art lovers will find painting by Reynolds,
Gainsborough and Van Dyck. Take the 77 steep steps leading to the tower’s roof
– the view is well worth

countryside for Sissinghurst Castle
Garden (NT) – one of the most

the world. Climb the 78 steps to the top
of the tower for a panoramic view of the

short journey to another Kent gem,
Penshurst Place. One of the bestpreserved
fortified manor houses in
England, Penshurst has a stunning mix
of paintings, tapestries and furniture

the Elgar Birthplace Museum devoted

the exhibition included. After lunch we
head on to RAF Scampton. Still an
active base, and current home to the
Red Arrows, this was the home base for
617 ‘Dambusters’ squadron. We shall be
escorted on a guided tour of the
excellent museum on the base. Photo
driving license/passport required for
entrance to the base!
DAY 3: Memorable day today as we
head south to visit Burghley House. One
of the finest country estates in the entire
country, Burghley is one of the largest
and grandest houses of the Elizabethan
age. Inside there are eighteen
magnificent State Rooms, a huge
collection of art including fine 17th
century Italian paintings and an amazing
collection of Japanese ceramics. The
house is surrounded by Capability
Brown parkland, wonderful gardens and
a deer park. Entrance included.
DAY 4: A day at leisure today. The
position of the hotel allows easy access
to the city centre - the magnificent
Cathedral is only a 15 minute walk away.

DAY 2: We depart after breakfast and
enjoy spectacular scenery as we head
down for our first look at the
Mediterranean - arriving at Diano
Marina mid evening with a warm

DAYS 3 to 6: During your stay in Diano
Marina we shall have 2 excursions which
are included in the price of the holiday.
Our superb local guide will join us for an
excursion to discover the Italian
coastline and historic towns of this
beautiful area. For the other excursion
we board the coach for a visit to the
Principality of Monaco and a chance to
see how the rich and famous live. The
remainder of your time is free to relax,
enjoy the sunshine, the friendly hotel
and the resort of Diano Marina.
DAY 7: Sadly we leave the
Mediterranean behind and begin the
journey home with plenty of comfort
stops as required before arriving at our

Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your
local pick up point around 7.30/8.30am
we travel to the overnight 3*
Samlesbury Hotel near Preston with
comfort stops on route. Excellent quality
hotel with comfortable bedrooms and
helpful staff. Arriving at the hotel with
time to relax before dinner.
DAY 2: We leave the hotel after
breakfast and head for Heysham to
board the 2.15pm ferry crossing to
Douglas. Arriving at 5.45pm and
heading to our hotel in good time for
dinner.
DAYS 3 to 5: During our time on the
island we have 2 full day excursions
discovering many parts of the island
including a visit to the ‘Lady Isabella’,
the largest water wheel in the world, a
memorable train ride on the Snaefell
Mountain Railway, Peel - home of the
famous Manx kipper and a splendid
castle, Castletown including entrance to
Castle Rushen, one of the best medieval
castles and the Folk Museum at
Cregneash. Details will be finalised
nearer to departure but most entrance
fees will be included in the price of your
holiday. We also include a free day in
Douglas for you to relax in the locality of
the hotel. Plenty to see in the town –
enjoy the view or maybe visit the Manx
Museum, take a horse tram along the
promenade or stroll up Douglas Head to

DAY 6: Early breakfast before the

Kent has so much to offer the visitor. From magnificent
castles and houses embedded in to the very heart of
England’s history, to towns and cities which have influenced
world events over the years - it is perhaps the county which
has the most to offer in the whole of Britain.
This holiday enjoys a varied itinerary with visits to world famous cities,
charming coastal towns and resorts, a visit to a hidden gem of a
garden plus a wonderful trip on a heritage trainline. We pass through
lovely countryside on route to our excursion destinations – Kent is
known as the 'Garden of England' due to its success in producing food
and drink, particularly fruit, hops and herbs, so look out for orchards,
pointy-roofed oast houses and windmills.
Itinerary
DAY 1: Collected from your local pick up point around 8.00/9.00am, we have a
lunch stop in the historic centre of Guildford before arriving at the hotel midafternoon.
Settle in to the comfort of your room before dinner.
DAY 2: After breakfast we head for Canterbury. This historic destination is
dominated by the magnificent Cathedral, the oldest in England, a UNESCO
World Heritage Site which has played such an important part in world history as
the base for the Anglican Church. But there is much more to Canterbury, with
other ancient ruins such as the Castle
and a lovely cobbled centre to explore
on foot. For fun – we have included a
unique trip on the Great Stour River
around the city centre by large rowing
boat with a commentary pointing out
places of interest. Free time for the rest
of the day - returning to the hotel late
afternoon.
DAY 3: Travelling through the lovely
Kent countryside, we head for the
Thanet Coast in the North East of the
county. We visit Margate - the original
seaside resort which has undergone
huge regeneration over the last few
years. The opening of the acclaimed
ultra-modern Turner Contemporary
gallery, prominently located on the
seafront, has put a stamp on the town.
Take a walk along the Harbour Arm and
enjoy the café culture and tempting
retro shops. After lunch we head along
the coast to nearby Broadstairs. This
characterful resort was once the home
of Charles Dickens and boasts a
beautiful wide beach and plenty of old
taverns, shops and cafes. Lovely place
to explore.
DAY 4: Wonderful day today as we
head to the lovely town of Tenterden –
one of the most picturesque in Kent.
We board one of the heritage trains of
the Kent and East Sussex Railway for a
return trip through beautiful countryside
including a wonderful view of Bodiam
Castle. One of the best railways in the
country. Returning for free time in the
town before heading for Godinton
House & Gardens. This delightful
Jacobean house is surrounded by 12
acres of tranquil gardens and ancient
parkland. A marvellous way to finish

we travel to Pembroke in West Wales
with refreshment stop on route before

Docking at 6.45pm we continue to

Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your local pick up point (5.45/6.45am approx.)
we board the Eurotunnel and arrive in France early afternoon. We continue
through France & Belgium in to Luxembourg, arriving early evening. After a long
journey relax in the comfort of the hotel.
DAY 2: Free day today to enjoy our lovely host town. Vianden is one of the most
picturesque towns in the country, so explore the medieval streets and head for
the fairytale castle by chair lift for spectacular scenery. Find somewhere nice for
lunch and enjoy relaxing in the hotel.
DAY 3: Great excursion today as we
head to one of our most popular
European destinations. Trier - Germany’s
oldest city, a beautiful town on the
banks of the Moselle River has a number
of UNESCO World Heritage sites to
enjoy. We shall be joined by a guide for
a 1 hour walking tour to see some of the
best city sights including the famous
Porta Nigra, one of the finest preserved
Roman city gates in Europe, the Main
Market, the Cathedral and the Church of
Our Lady, the Roman Imperial Throne
Room and Electoral Palace. Followed by
free time to enjoy. On our return to
Vianden enjoy the lovely scenery and
we also have a brief stop in the
picturesque town of Echternach.
DAY 4: Another highlight today as we
head to Luxembourg City. Stopping
near the historic centre where we are
joined by a local guide for a 2 hour
walking tour to discover attractions
including the Place a’Armes, Corniche,
Old Town and Grand Ducal Palace. Free
time afterwards to further explore and
find somewhere nice for lunch or a drink
before returning to the hotel late
afternoon. Guided tour included.
DAY 5: Mid morning we head north for
the short journey to the town of
Clervaux - lovely to explore with a
Castle full of history and the excellent
Battle of the Bulge Museum, a
magnificent Abbey overlooking the
town and historic streets and houses.

Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your home by taxi around 7.30/8.30am we
travel to Preston in Lancashire for our overnight stay. Our overnight hotel is the
superb 4* Hallmark Hotel Preston Leyland - choice of menu – no lift but ground
floor rooms available.
DAY 2: Lovely day travelling today as we continue north. We shall have an
extended stop for lunch on the way before arriving at the hotel mid/late
afternoon. Settle in before dinner – entertainment will be provided on two nights
of our stay.
DAY 3: Wonderful excursion today as we take the ferry from nearby Ardrossan
over to the Isle of Arran. Often described as Scotland in Miniature, Arran has a
bit of everything: mountains, forests, beaches, glens and you can't miss Goat Fell
Mountain as we approach on the ferry.
The island is also blessed with an
abundance of wildlife. We include a tour
of the island plus a trip to Brodick Castle
& Gardens for a peak at the ancient seat

DAY 4: Fascinating day out with a visit
to the town of Alloway where Robert
Burns, perhaps the most famous Scot of
all, was born. There is an excellent
museum complex including a collection
of the poets works, the Burn’s
Monument plus the famous Brig o’

Afterwards we enjoy a drive along the
breathtaking coast road with views over
to Ailsa Craig, where the granite on the

DAY 5: We head north for another ferry
this morning over to the beautiful Isle of
Bute. On to one of the finest mansions
we have ever visited, Mount Stuart. We
have a local connection to Mount Stuart
as Highcliffe Castle was designed for the
3rd Earl of Bute. This remarkable neogothic
mansion boasts impressive
architecture, lavish interiors with
spectacular art, extensive gardens and a

Every year over 150,000 people flock to the beautiful banks of The
Rhine for the country’s largest firework display. Situated at one of the
most scenic spots along the Rhine, between Boppard and Klobenz this
wonderful event sees the river valley bathed in fire – an amazing
spectacle. Following the success and popularity of our River Cruises in
conjunction with Croisi Europe Cruises – one of the premium brands in
the market, we have secured space on this cruise for 2019. Places are
strictly limited with upgrades available. Modern cruise boats offer
excellent quality accommodation and facilities.

Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your home around 7.00am we travel to
Folkestone for our lunchtime Eurotunnel to France. Travelling through the
countryside to our overnight hotel stop on the outskirts of Lens. Excellent quality
Novotel 4* Hotel with all the comforts of a modern hotel. 3 course evening meal
included.
DAY 2: After breakfast we continue to the beautiful ancient city of Strasbourg on
the border with Germany where we board the excellent MS Gerard Schmitter.
After comfortably settling into your cabins, meet the crew at a welcome cocktail.
After dinner on board we have included the optional visit to Strasbourg's Old
Town by river boat (subject to availability). We'll start cruising in the night.
DAY 3: STRASBOURG - BOPPARD - THE RHINE IN FLAMES - KOBLENZ
This morning will be spent sailing, reaching Boppard at the end of the afternoon.
We'll set out on a discovery tour of the old town with our hostess. Over dinner,
we'll follow the convoy of boats forming a line from Boppard to Koblenz. What
follows is an unforgettable magical evening. The Romantic Rhine in Flames
bursts into flames, creating a spectacular and fairy-tale like atmosphere. We'll
reach Koblenz in the night.

DAY 4: KOBLENZ - THE ROMANTIC RHINE VALLEY - RÜDESHEIM
We'll cruise along the most beautiful stretch of the Romantic Rhine between
Koblenz and reaching Rüdesheim late afternoon. We have included an excursion
with a tour and commentary of the Rüdesheim vineyards by mini-train with
breathtaking view of the Rhine, followed by a tasting! Afterwards, we visit a
fascinating Museum of Mechanical Instruments before free time to stroll through
the streets of Rüdesheim ambling down the famous Drosselgasse, before making
your own way back to the boat. After dinner, relax or head back to the
Drosselgasse with its numerous live bands and cafes.
DAY 5: RÜDESHEIM - MANNHEIM
We'll spend the morning cruising towards Mannheim. Upon arrival, we have
included an optional excursion to discover Heidelberg with views of the beautiful
castle and a chance to walk through the lovely gardens. Includes free time to
wander through the streets and shops before returning to the coach. Return on
board. Tonight, is a special gala dinner evening. We'll sail to Strasbourg through
the night.
DAY 6: STRASBOURG
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking in Strasbourg at
9:00 a.m. We board the coach and head back to Lens to once again stay in the
Novotel – 3 course evening meal included.
DAY 7: We depart the hotel after breakfast and head for the Eurotunnel.
Continuing home to arrive back in the local area around 4.00/5.00pm. Returned
to your home by our home collection service.

Itinerary

scenery of France to the great city of Lyon. Regarded as ‘the’ gastronomic centre
of France, Lyon is known for its historical and architectural landmarks and is a
UNESCO World Heritage Site. We board the superb MS Camargue in the early
evening. After comfortably settling into your cabins, meet the crew at a welcome
cocktail. After dinner on board there will be an evening of entertainment.
DAY 3: LYON - MACON
Today we have included a guided visit of the city. Starting with a coach tour with
sights including the remarkable Fourvière Basilica and the ruins of the old Roman
forum. Followed by a walking tour of Lyon's Old Town - discover the "traboules”,
types of passageways that are typical of the city. Free time in the Saint Jean
district, in the heart of the Old Town before we return on board for lunch. This
afternoon we cruise towards Mâcon. Enjoy dinner and an evening of dancing.
DAY 4: MACON - VIENNE
After breakfast we leave by coach with our guide to the Cluny Abbey. Founded
in 910, this ancient Benedictine abbey extended a widespread influence on all
medieval Europe. The church was the largest in all of western Christianity until
Saint Peter's Basilica was built in Rome. We'll return on board and spend the
afternoon cruising. After dinner, enjoy an evening of entertainment before we
arrive in Vienne later this evening.
DAY 5: VIENNE - ARLES
A fascinating walking tour of Vienne this morning, during which you will discover
this Roman city’s rich heritage. With a history dating back more than 2000 years,
discover the sights including the Roman Antique Theatre, one of the largest in
the Roman empire, the Temple of Augustus and Livia and the Cathedral of St
Maurice. Returning to the boat and spend the afternoon cruising. Enjoy dinner
and an evening of entertainment.
DAY 6: ARLES, THE CAMARGUE
After breakfast we include a guided tour of Arles by foot. So much to see in this
amazing town with a remarkable history. Van Gogh was drawn to the beauty of
the sun-baked buildings, painting over 200 canvases of the town. During the tour
we see the Roman Amphitheatre, the Roman Theatre, St Trophimus square and
much more. We then depart by coach towards Tarascon to visit an olive oil farm
with the opportunity to taste the products. Return to Arles by coach. This
afternoon we head off to discover the Camargue including a visit to a "manade"
(horse breeding farm) and learn about how a manadier works with the animals.
We'll return on board for dinner and an evening of traditional Provençal
entertainment.
DAY 7: ARLES - AVIGNON - VIVIERS
In the morning we have a guided tour of the old town of Avignon including the
famous Pope's Palace, classed as a world heritage site by UNESCO and a
testimony to the city's heritage. Another wonderful destination to explore.
Returning to the boat and spend the afternoon cruising to Viviers. We have

included a walking tour with a guide bringing the many beautiful old buildings to
life. Return to the boat on foot.
DAY 8: VIVIERS - TOURNON - LYON
This morning will be spent cruising. We have included an excursion to Tournon in
the heart of the Rhone Valley and at the gates of Provence. We'll begin our visit
on foot passing all the main tourist attractions of the town, including the historic
monuments and shopping areas. At the foot of the castle, enjoy a pleasant walk
along the streets and alleys of the historic centre. The tour will end with a tasting
of regional products and wines. Return on foot to the boat at your own pace.
Tonight is the gala dinner. During the night the ship cruises towards Lyon.
DAY 8: LYON
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. We
board the coach and head back to Lens to once again stay in the Novotel – 3
course evening meal included.
DAY 9: We depart the hotel after breakfast and head for the Eurotunnel.
Continuing home to arrive back in the local area around 4.00/5.00pm. Returned
to your home by our home collection service.

Austrian Tyrol – St Anton & Silvretta Pass

St. Anton is the world famous skiing resort, located 1300
metres above sea level in the scenic Arlberg region of the
Western Tyrol. The village is renowned for its hospitality and
Tyrolean traditions and it is ideally located to discover the
amazing scenery of the area.
Our regular holidays to the Sporthotel in the centre of town have
proved to be very popular over the years. In the summer months the
skiers are replaced by walkers, climbers and nature lovers who come to
enjoy the pure mountain air, lush pastures, wooded valleys and
traditional alpine scenery. Our holiday includes some great excursions
seeing some fantastic scenery with a local guide - a visit to Innsbruck in
the very heart of The Alps plus a very memorable day through the
Silvretta Pass.
This year our stay coincides with the Almabtrieb – The Alpine Cattle
Drive and Country Festival in St Anton. Fantastic spectacle as the
animals are led down from the mountains, through the town to the
lower pastures with the locals in traditional costume, bands playing and
a celebration in the main square. Our excursion days may alter when
details are known.

Itinerary
DAY 1: After being collected from your home by our service around 6.00/7.00am
we travel to the Eurotunnel and on to our good quality hotel in northern France
with comfort stops on route. Evening meal included.
DAY 2: We leave the hotel after breakfast and have comfort stops as required,
arriving in St. Anton early evening. For the duration of your holiday you will
receive a St. Anton Summer Card, which offers a variety of free entrances, a free
day on the cable cars and free bus travel.
DAY 3: Day at leisure in the village. St Anton is a lovely place to enjoy some free
time with pedestrianised streets and plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants.
There are some great walks out or you can take the cable car for lunch on the
Valluga summit.
DAY 4: Our excursion today takes us to the historic city of Innsbruck, known for
its Golden Roof and many fine old buildings, with a guided city tour on foot to
see the best sights.
DAY 5: Amazing day with our guide. The famous Silvretta Pass provides some of
the finest views in the entire Alps with 34 spectacular hairpin bends. Known as
“the dream road in the Alps for connoisseurs”. With the stunning mountain
backdrop of Silvretta and passing the Vermunt and Silvretta lakes, this is a day to
remember.
DAY 6: Another day at leisure in St Anton.
DAY 7: Sadly we leave St Anton and the mountains and head back to our
overnight hotel in northern France. Good quality with dinner included.
DAY 8: After breakfast we continue home, boarding the mid afternoon
Eurotunnel crossing. Comfort stops during the day before arriving back to your
home around 7.00/8.00pm by our Home Collection Service.

famous resort. The friendly and helpful
staff will ensure you enjoy your stay in the

1992” all passengers booking with Highcliffe Coach Holidays are
fully bonded for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of
all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required arising from
the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to
the insolvency of Highcliffe Coach Holidays.
We are members of the Bonded Coach Holiday government approved consumer
protection scheme administered by the Confederation of Passenger Transport
UK. This ensures that, in relation to the coach package holidays described in this
brochure, your monies are protected by a bond in the unlikely event of our
ceasing to trade. You are recommended to inspect our current membership
certificate at our registered office or alternatively go to www.bch-uk.org or

As members of the BCH we comply with the BCHG Trading Charter. A full

GENERAL INFORMATION & ADVICE
We want you to be as happy as possible from the moment you select your
holiday until you return home. Along with the hotels which we use, we try our
very best to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. To help you to make
the right selection and for what you can expect from us, please take a moment
to read the following points.
LUGGAGE
Due to space & weight restrictions the maximum suitcase size per
person is 70 x 50 x 23cm. The maximum luggage weight per
person is 20kg. A small separate holdall can also be taken on board.
These restrictions are placed as a matter of safety and we thank you
for your assistance.
Porterage is provided at some of the hotels that we use. If not included it is
usually available if required. This may incur a small additional charge which will
need to be paid by you directly to the hotel.
SEAT ALLOCATION
Seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis when you book your
holiday with us. If you have specific needs we would advise you to book as early
as possible. We make every effort to abide by these allocations but on occasion,
perhaps when a substitute coach is required, this may not be possible. We shall
have no liability regarding any changes made.

HOTELS
We offer a range of hotel accommodation which have different
levels of comfort, facilities and quality. When selecting your
holiday please ensure that the quality will match your requirements.
This is generally related to the cost of the holiday but if you have any
specific requirements please talk to our staff who will be able to help.
Some of our hotels have chosen not to be members of the RAC/AA and as
such are not star rated. This is not necessarily an indication of a lower standard
of accommodation.
If you have special requirements please notify us as soon as possible. The hotel
will be notified before your arrival but please remember that rooms are
allocated by the hotels.
Rooms for Single Occupancy are in high demand and very often are sold out.
Some hotels charge a supplement for these rooms, the cost of which is
indicated in this brochure.
We try to indicate all the room and hotel facilities for each hotel within the
information in this brochure but cannot accept liability for any alterations made
by the hotel before our arrival. Sometimes amenities such as swimming pools
and lifts may be out of service whilst entertainment may be curtailed, altered or
cancelled due to hotel number.
Hot drink making facilities are not normally available in Continental hotel
bedrooms but are usually available at the bar/café.
When travelling abroad, you should expect the food to be served in the national
custom and therefore different to British cuisine. For some hotels, particularly
overnight hotels the restaurant will serve a set menu. If, when you are at the
hotel, you require an alternative this is normally available but may incur an
additional cost for you.
These days, many hotels are excellent at providing Special Diets. Please let us
know as soon as possible so they can make preparations early.
Many meals are taken as a group in the restaurants and usually involve sharing
tables with 2 or more other diners in our group.
HOLIDAY ITINERARIES AND SUITABILITY
We pride ourselves on the planning of our holidays to provide an exciting
and enjoyable holiday experience. Many are planned months in advance and
may require adjustment to the itineraries due to changes at destinations or
attractions.
Our itineraries are displayed in the brochure and you should carefully consider
suitability before booking your holiday. You are, of course, quite welcome not
to join any particular excursion during your holiday.
Provided we are informed before departure, we are happy to take manual
walking aids and folding wheelchairs up to 15kg in weight. Unfortunately, we are
not able to carry any electric wheelchairs or scooters, although these are often
available to hire at the destination.
HOLIDAY CANCELLATION
If we have to cancel a holiday this is always done well in advance of your
departure date and a full refund is given.
Due to the contract obligations and financial commitments we have with hotels
if you have to cancel your holiday you will have to pay cancellation charges.
These are based on the following scale depending on how close to departure
we receive your cancellation.
More than 42 days – Deposit only
42-28 days – 30%
27-14 days – 45%
13-7 days – 60%
Less than 7 days – 100%
However, if you do cancel more than 42 days before your departure date we will
transfer your deposit less a £10 per person administration fee to another holiday
currently available.
We do advise you to take out travel insurance to cover any of your loses.
