of Wilmette, was charged
with DUI of alcohol and
illegal transportation of alcohol
at 7 p.m. in the intersection
of Sheridan Road
and McMormack Drive.
Police responded to a driving
complaint concerning a
gray Honda Civic that was
driving erratically in the
area of Westleigh Road and
Sheridan Road. Police located
the vehicle and, after
observing traffic violations,
conducted a traffic stop on
the vehicle. Officers spoke
to the driver, identified as
Sullivan, and immediately
noted her eyes were blood
shot. Officers could smell
the odor of alcohol on her
breath and there was an
open container of alcohol
in the passenger floorboard.
As officers spoke to Sullivan,
they noted other signs
of alcohol impairment and
subsequently requested
Sullivan exit the vehicle
and perform some standard
field sobriety tests. Sullivan
refused further testing
and was subsequently arrested.
Sullivan was transported
to the Public Safety
Building where she refused
a chemical breath test.
• Jamie C. Colon Figueroa,
charged with driving with a
to a driving complaint
in the area of Route
a call concerning a
dark colored SUV with one
headlight out that was driving
erratically. Police located
a black 2003 Ford Expedition
and initiated a traffic
stop on the vehicle. When
several moving violations.
Officers conducted a traffic
stop on the vehicle and
spoke to the driver, identified
as Alfaro. As police
spoke with Alfaro, they observed
he was demonstrating
signs of impairment
and officers could smell
the odor of alcohol coming
from his breath. Based on
the officer’s observations,
Alfaro was requested to
submit to some standard
field sobriety tests. Based
on Alfaro’s performance on
the field sobriety test, his
driving, and the officer’s
observations, Alfaro was
arrested. Alfaro was transported
