Our Duration Strategy • We are managing the duration actively. By actively allocating on the duration we can reduce the Mark-to- Market (MTM) risk. • We have been running relatively low duration across schemes since some time now. This has helped us save investors from a lot of potential damage that may have occurred due to sharp rise in yields. • We will increase the duration gradually when the markets have stabilized. We may allocate at high duration when there are some signs of peaking in interest rates and/or a directional rally. Till then, we will keep trading in the range with low exposures given the present risk. 70
