As this picture proves, Middlesex was well represented at the second annual “Run for Amy,” held at Appleton
Farms in Ipswich, MA, on September 22, 2018. Approximately 900 runners and walkers celebrated the life
of Amy DiAdamo Foster ’93 while raising money to support cancer research at Dana Farber.
With a new travel agency business underway, Emily Griswold Larkin ’96 escorted a group to Machu Picchu,
which was “an experience of a lifetime,” she attests.
and Rodey coached their team to a
second-place finish. We had a great
time catching up and talking about
our years playing for Middlesex
hockey!”
Emily Griswold Larkin writes,
“I am excited to be building a new
travel agency business, which is the
perfect fit for me. I am living at
home in Easton, MD, and sending
people to Europe, the Caribbean,
and beyond—and I even had the
opportunity to escort a group to
Machu Picchu, which was an experience
of a lifetime. My two boys
are growing so fast that I even have
one at boarding school now! Hope
to spend more time in Massachusetts
in the coming years. Best
to everyone!”
Dave Willis reported last summer,
“I’m gearing up for the annual
trip to Doug Worthen’s house in
Canada. This marks 25 years since
older siblings, Lily (4) and Reeves
(2), who are reportedly “smothering
him with love.”
Gray, Townsend Bancroft, John
Hartley, and I started making the
journey. We are older and softer,
but our shared love of juvenile
humor and group hugs keeps us
going back.”
I write this class update with
a heavy heart since we lost
our friend and classmate, Jen
McLernon Bjercke, on June 28
after a long and courageous battle
against cancer. Jen’s light will
continue to shine brightly in all
of us who loved her dearly and
miss her so much.
In May, the class of 1998 celebrated
the 20th reunion in Boston
at Bully Boy Distillers (owned
by Will ’92 and Dave Willis ’96,
brothers of Deb Willis Dowling).
Classmates traveled from as far
away as Hong Kong, London,
California, Utah, and New York
