Sleep-in masks<br />
These have seemingly come out of nowhere as a beauty<br />
category but are actually an introduction via Korea.<br />
Are they different to night creams? Well, what these<br />
creams/masks also offer is a jolt of specifically facewaking<br />
ingredients – in line with what a regular mask<br />
delivers, but working their magic as we slumber.<br />
What I would say about sleeping masks is, if you have<br />
dry skin, more is more. I love them and favourites include<br />

Hyaluronic acid<br />
Possibly my favourite molecule ever. A single gram,<br />
apparently, can hold up to six litres of water – explaining<br />
hyaluronic acid’s ability to quench skin with moisture,<br />
infusing the cells to hydrate and ‘plump’ them. No<br />
wonder it’s become a byword for hydration. It’s<br />
completely kind to skin, ideal even for sensitive types.<br />
Hyaluronic is very, very different to those acids like<br />
glycolic and lactic acid and does not peel or irritate<br />
skin in any way. I love, love, love, love, love it.<br />
