Midwinter Fair<br />
This year’s Wealden Times Midwinter Fair, the fairest of them all...<br />
Months of planning by stall holders<br />
and the WT events team came to<br />
glorious fruition over three days at<br />
this year’s Wealden Times Midwinter Fair.<br />
A record number of visitors stocked up<br />
for Christmas from the great range of gifts,<br />
plus fabulous festive food and decorations,<br />
which were on offer from the 260 hand-picked<br />
exhibitors who joined us at the Hop Farm.<br />
As always, the Midwinter Fair wasn’t<br />
just about Christmas. Antique furnishings,<br />
gorgeous clothes and accessories and<br />
stunning homewares made it a great<br />
place for some serious retail therapy.<br />
Everyone agreed that this year’s mix of new<br />
designers and producers with all our favourite<br />
regulars made it one of the best fairs ever.<br />
The best-dressed stand was chosen by<br />
Tunbridge Wells-based stylist Victoria<br />
Genevieve and it went to Little<br />
Boutique Bakery, the first time a food<br />
exhibitor has won the award.<br />
The fair’s sponsor, Harpers &<br />
Hurlingham, raised a whopping<br />
£1,995 from raffle tickets in aid of Cancer<br />
Research thanks to the generosity of visitors<br />
and the giving didn’t stop there – our<br />
charity partners Kent, <strong>Surrey</strong> and Sussex<br />
Ambulance Trust raised vital funds too,<br />
meeting up with existing supporters and<br />
making friends with some new ones.<br />
Wealden Times magazine’s emerald green<br />
stand was a great success on social media –<br />
check us out, we’re all over Instagram! A big<br />
thanks to Huutt for supplying the gorgeous<br />
blue sofa and Jen from Blooming Green for<br />
creating our lovely letters from dried and<br />
fresh flowers. Thank you, too, to all the<br />
lovely magazine readers who stopped by to<br />
say hello. We love getting to meet you.<br />
Finally, have a lovely Christmas and<br />

on 6, 7 & 8 June at Hole Park at<br />
