6 WATER<br />
While it wasn’t super-hot, it was warm<br />
enough and the technical riding meant<br />
we were roasting – Warren’s heart<br />
monitor showed he ran at max heart rate<br />
for a solid 45 minutes through the worst<br />
of the terrain. Fortunately, there was<br />
some water in one of the streambeds.<br />
