In 2015 QIS received the highest possible grad<strong>in</strong>g from the <strong>Qatar</strong> National School’s Accreditation programme<br />
and was certified for 5 years. <strong>The</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g year the school was awarded full BSO status (British School<br />
Overseas) by the UK Government follow<strong>in</strong>g an excellent <strong>in</strong>spection <strong>in</strong> October 2016. S<strong>in</strong>ce then the school has<br />
cont<strong>in</strong>ued to renew its accreditation as well as becom<strong>in</strong>g the only provider <strong>in</strong> the region for the prestigious<br />
Olevi <strong>International</strong> Teacher Tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Programmes, becom<strong>in</strong>g a designated Centre of Excellence <strong>in</strong> <strong>2018</strong>, one of<br />
only 8 schools <strong>in</strong> the world to do so. This very much reflects the QIS commitment to the highest quality of<br />
teach<strong>in</strong>g learn<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
Our student body is truly <strong>in</strong>ternational, with over 60 different nationalities represented with<strong>in</strong> the current<br />
cohort. Throughout the year they participate <strong>in</strong> numerous events, both <strong>in</strong>side and outside of the school,<br />
