Get your hospital
appointments on
time through early
intervention referral
Colleagues undergoing treatment within
our hospitals can get seen earlier by our
own specialists via the early intervention
referral scheme.
This service is available to all colleagues
with a referral from a GP. Director of
People and Organisation Development,
Raffaela Goodby said: “We are aware that
some colleagues have to wait a long time
for services such as scans and diagnostic
treatment. This often stops them from
returning to work and sometimes they are
off without a diagnosis.
“Early intervention referral allows
colleagues to take advantage of last minute
cancellations enabling them to return to
work sooner. This is a fantastic scheme
which gives colleagues the opportunity to
be seen by our teams of clinical experts.
