Caring Hearts for Canines is a
501c3 non-profit dog rescue based
out of Southern Pines, and has rescued
over 2000 dogs since 2016.
appalling and unacceptable. The mission
of Caring Hearts for Canines is
to rescue and rehome dogs at risk of
being euthanized in high kill shelters
and to educate the public in order to
decrease the proliferation of these
unwanted dogs.
RADAR
Radar has only sunshine and adoration
in his heart for everyone he
meets!
He was brought to the shelter after
being dumped from a vehicle.
He is a happy, playful boy who loves
to play with his toys and romp around
our yard. Radar is a young, Pitbull Terrier
mix just under 30 lbs.
He has been neutered and is up to
date on vaccinations. He would love
nothing more than to find his new
family to adore and will have you smiling
ear to ear at his fun-loving nature!
BUCK
Buck is a sweet soul. He enjoys attention
from his humans and is independent
too. He loves to be thrown
toys or play a little tug of war but is
also content with a leisurely stroll.
He did very nicely with one of our
younger school-age volunteers and
was respectful of their smaller size.
Buck is a neutered 4-year old who
was surrendered by his owners who
were moving to Alaska, along with
his sibling Kathy.
He is a Siberian Husky and Irish
Setter mix. Buck needs a safe yard
for play/exercise, and a family with
an active lifestyle.
Please visit Moore Humane Society located at
5355 NC Hwy. 22 Carthage, NC 28327 to visit
we are open noon to 6 closed on Wednesdays.
(ASPCA) 1.4 million dogs are euthanized
in U.S. shelters every year (AS-
finds these numbers to be both
save as many shelter dogs as possible
and to give them a life filled with
the love and compassion they deserve.
include providing appropriate
veterinary care including, spay and
neuter services, vaccinations, foster
Additionally, Caring Hearts for Canines
works to educate the public
through community outreach about
the issues of spaying and neutering,
vaccinating, heartworm prevention
and proper care and maintenance of
their canine companions.
Caring Hearts for Canines has an
ever growing network of volunteers
