When students at Reed
School learned they could
make a difference by collecting
donations for the
Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society, they jumped on
board.
One student decided to
take her creative passion
for jewelry making to another
level in an effort to
donate to the cause. Madison
Martin, a second grade
student at Reed School,
spent hours in her room at
home creating bracelets.
What started as a hobby
quickly turned into a labor
of love.
Madison has currently
raised more than $200 selling
400 bracelets, and she is
busy filling her next order
for 200 more bracelets. She
even donated $6.23 of her
own money to her collection.
