Welcome to our spring 2019 bulb and Plant Catalogue, packed full of exciting new bulbs and plants to fill your garden with glorious colour all year. We have added over 40 new varieties to our range, many rare and unusual varieties that are only available from Mr Middleton so early ordering is essential if you don’t wish to be disappointed. Our catalogue contains just a sample of the many exciting varieties we offer, many more are available online but for the very best experience a visit to our shop is a must where you will find over 1,000 varieties of summer flower bulbs. This year we have a packed schedule of events at which we hope to meet as many of our regular customers as well as welcoming new faces. Our Open Days are now a major event in the gardening calendar, this year our Spring Rare Plant and Bulb Day is on February 23th, some of the rarer varieties we will only have as little as 20 plants so the early bird gets the worm. Our Spring Garden Masterclass on March 30th promises to be a great day with truly inspirational speakers. FÉLICITÉ PERPÉTUE (1827)<br />
A strongly scented rambler that has won the RHS award of<br />
Merit, bears large clusters of creamy-white blooms which<br />
are globular in form and scented. A useful rambler in that it<br />
is later flowering - early to mid-July and is almost evergreen.<br />
Excellent of covering walls, fences or rambling up a tree.<br />

Historically, the most popular of all climbing roses. Brilliant,<br />
unfading scarlet fragrant flowers in large clusters. Very free<br />
flowering, a versatile climber as the stems are plentiful and<br />

ROSA BANTRY BAY<br />
Bantry Bay is a relatively modern climbing rose - bred<br />
in 1967 - with strong growth and healthy foliage. A<br />
tough, repeat flowerer, the Bantry Bay climbing rose<br />
has open-centred, scented pink flowers that show<br />
off their yellow pollen coated centres. 4m x 4m.<br />

MME. GRÉGOIRE STAECHELIN<br />
Masses of fragrant, fully double, crimson-tinted, clear pink<br />
flowers with ruffled petals in June and July and large, dark<br />
green leaves. This early summer-flowering climbing rose has<br />
a delicious scent, reminiscent of sweet peas. Ideal for covering<br />
a sunny fence or wall, the charming, old-style blooms are followed<br />
by large, spherical, red rose-hips.<br />
