Welcome to our spring 2019 bulb and Plant Catalogue, packed full of exciting new bulbs and plants to fill your garden with glorious colour all year. We have added over 40 new varieties to our range, many rare and unusual varieties that are only available from Mr Middleton so early ordering is essential if you don’t wish to be disappointed. Our catalogue contains just a sample of the many exciting varieties we offer, many more are available online but for the very best experience a visit to our shop is a must where you will find over 1,000 varieties of summer flower bulbs. This year we have a packed schedule of events at which we hope to meet as many of our regular customers as well as welcoming new faces. Our Open Days are now a major event in the gardening calendar, this year our Spring Rare Plant and Bulb Day is on February 23th, some of the rarer varieties we will only have as little as 20 plants so the early bird gets the worm. Our Spring Garden Masterclass on March 30th promises to be a great day with truly inspirational speakers. Acer Palmatum Atropurpureum A true gem a round-headed tree with deeply lobed, red-purple leaves that turn a<br />

deciduous shrub with orange -green leaves that colour change to green during the summer and back to orangeyellow<br />

bed or border. HT 3m Acer palmatum Butterfly An upright small tree bearing light green leaves that are flecked with<br />
creamy-white markings. During spring, the leaves are edged in pink, graciously turning into a deep shade of crimson<br />
as the leaves begin to fall in autumn. Occasionally you can expect to see small red flowers during the spring, adding<br />
interest to an already beautiful specimen. Acers prefer moist but well-drained soil in sun or part shade which is<br />

A beauty! Pretty Woman’ brings a pure white bloom and a soft sweet fragrance to our lily collection. The<br />
triumphant result of a cross between Oriental and trumpet lilies, Orienpets are renowned for massive<br />
blooms and intense fragrance, these beauties have the best of each parent—scent, flower size and reliable<br />
performance. The stems get taller each year as these hardy lily bulbs return in spring to put on an elegant<br />
display of summer flowers. Thick sturdy stems require little staking - and are excellent for cutting but<br />
best left to enjoy in the garden as you may not have a vase big enough to display them! Set out in sunny<br />
borders or place in large containers on the patio to enjoy the scent. No matter where you place them, their<br />
