Learn to code this summer at Codeverse Summer Camps
Imagine a futuristic wonderland designed
just for kids. A world full of possibilities
and adventure, where kids can be
creative and explore, play, and tinker with
cutting-edge technology. A place where today’s
kids invent tomorrow.
Introducing Codeverse, Wilmette’s best
interactive coding studio for kids aged
6-13. Located at 517 Green Bay Road,
the 4,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility is
riddled with objects, such as concert-hall
lights, robots, 3D printers, strobe lights,
speakers, and TV’s - all of which can be
programmed by kids.
This Summer, Codeverse offers three
fantastic coding camps for tech-loving
kids:
Coding FUNdamentals (Beginner):
Whether your child is new to coding or has
been grabbing for the family iPad since
they could toddle, this camp is perfect for
beginners or experienced coders alike!
Campers spend a week learning the fundamentals
of coding, building their very own
video games, creating 3D designs, and programming
dozens of objects featured in the
studio.
THIS CAMP’S FOCUS: Coding, 3D
Printing, Robotics, Game Development
MakerLab (Intermediate): Campers
learn all about the design process by building
their own board game. They’ll program
our CNC machine to carve their game
board and 3D printer to make their pawns.
Campers will also code a mobile version of
the game to share with friends and family.
By the end of this week, they’ll earn the
official title of “Game Designer”!
THIS CAMP’S FOCUS: Coding, 3D
Printing, CNC Machine, Design Process,
Game Development
Robots + Circuitry (Intermediate):
Campers design and build a real robot,
then participate in fun challenges using
their cool new robot friend and the power
of circuitry! All campers will work with
wires, batteries and lights as they learn all
about circuits.
THIS CAMP’S FOCUS: Robotics, Circuitry,
Design Process
All weeklong camps run Monday-Friday
from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. throughout the months
of June, July, and August. Camp includes
complimentary early drop-off at 8 a.m. and
late pick up at 4 p.m. All food is included,
with flexibility in dietary restrictions.
All camps are 1:8 (instructor:student) ratio
and are taught by certified K-12 Chicagoland
instructors, designers, and coders.
