I have more than 25 years of commercial
property management experience.
My responsibilities are strategic in nature.
I am responsible for identifying growth
opportunities, stabilizing portfolios, advocating
value maximizing strategies
within a portfolio, measuring risks and
developing strategies to mitigate risks,
and developing strategies to preserve and
improve property values while overseeing
the short- and long-term development,
marketing, operations, accounting/financial
reporting obligations to ownership.
These skill sets are easily transferable in
the role of Village Trustee. I want to work
together with the Board to improve the
quality of life in our community, as we
move forward into the next decade and
beyond, for all the families like us that
chose to live in New Lenox because it is
such a wonderful place to raise a family.

What are the Top 3 issues you see facing
the Village of New Lenox and what
would you do to solve them?
While circulating more than 300 petitions,
and as I walked and talked with
more the 300 families, there are three
core issues to focus on. I will work with
the Board and community to insure the
quality of life we now enjoy in New
Lenox continues to improve for everyone
by insuring the village remains
desirable and affordable to live in, to
raise their families in, to return to live
in and to remain in as long as they want
to. Secondly, I will work to implement
the 2018 Comprehensive Plan as we
move into the next decade of 2020 and
beyond. As a new board member, I have
a fresh and unbiased viewpoint along
with a unique perspective and skillset in
identifying the strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats ahead of us.
My expertise in developing, managing
and operating complex commercial assets,
along with higher education and
corporate campuses will allow us to
minimize the risk and cost to the Village
and its residents while still providing
superior service and full amenities
to our residents. Finally, I will work to
keep our village clean, safe and secure.
My experience in managing commercial
budgets, which include income/revenue
sources, R/M, operating and capital expenses
for more than 42M sf of real estate
allow me to help the Board insure
the approved operating budget is benefitting
everyone and that it is not placing
an unfair burden on homeowners. I
was elected as a Board Member, then as
President of the Bluestone Bay Homeowners
Association in New Lenox,
which includes 371 homeowners and
approximately 1,500 residents. During
my multi-year tenure, I was able to rebate
a substantial amount of HOA dues
back to the homeowners by improving
the management of the HOA on behalf
of the homeowners.
