Uzod<strong>in</strong>ma through his Director of Media and Special Duties, Declan Emelumba stated this <strong>in</strong> Owerri. He also said that a video be<strong>in</strong>g circulated <strong>in</strong> the social media suggest<strong>in</strong>g that he (Uzod<strong>in</strong>ma) met with Ihedioha w<strong>as</strong> not true, add<strong>in</strong>g that the video w<strong>as</strong> taken <strong>in</strong> a wedd<strong>in</strong>g ceremony and not anywhere congratulat<strong>in</strong>g Ihedioha. The state government h<strong>as</strong> also set <strong>up</strong> an <strong>in</strong>vestigative panel to determ<strong>in</strong>e the cause of the accident and <strong>make</strong> recommendations. The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. Don Ad<strong>in</strong>uba said Governor Willie Obiano h<strong>as</strong> directed that the 14 wounded persons should be given the best of treatment at the government expense. Ad<strong>in</strong>uba said: “Governor Willie Obiano h<strong>as</strong> directed that the surviv<strong>in</strong>g victims be given the best medical attention available. The Anambra State Government will bear the cost entirely. “He h<strong>as</strong> also set <strong>up</strong> a panel to <strong>in</strong>vestigate the cause or causes of the accident and advise the state government on me<strong>as</strong>ures to take to avoid a similar occurrence. “The panel will be headed by the Honourable Commissioner for Transport. The members are the Commissioner for Health, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, the Commandant of the Anambra State Traffic Management Agency, the State Commandant of the Federal Road Safety Corps and a representative of the Nigeria Police Force”. Accord<strong>in</strong>g to him, the panel is expected to submit its report with<strong>in</strong> one week. Obi commiserates with Lagos, Anambra VICE Presidential candidate of the PDP <strong>in</strong> the recent general elections, Mr. Peter Obi h<strong>as</strong> commiserated with the government and people of Lagos State on the collapse of a build<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the State that claimed some lives.
