<strong>in</strong>itiative to rescue Kaduna<br />
from mutually destructive<br />
violence.<br />
Aremu, who<br />
congratulated el-Rufai on<br />
his re-election, said: “Peace<br />
process must go hand <strong>in</strong><br />
hand with susta<strong>in</strong>able<br />
development, which must<br />
start with urgent re<strong>in</strong>dustrialisation<br />
of Kaduna<br />
State and m<strong>as</strong>s<br />
employment of the army of<br />
the youths.<br />
“The Textile Union will<br />
cont<strong>in</strong>ue to partner with the<br />
state government to take<br />
necessary steps to revive<br />
the ail<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>dustries <strong>in</strong><br />
Kaduna State, especially<br />
the textile <strong>in</strong>dustries, with<br />
a view to creat<strong>in</strong>g jobs for<br />
the m<strong>as</strong>s of unemployed<br />
youths <strong>in</strong> the state.<br />
“As a private sector union<br />
and affiliate of Nigeria<br />
Labour Congress, NLC,<br />
and a critical stakeholder <strong>in</strong><br />
the development of the state<br />
and the country <strong>in</strong> general,<br />

contestants to accept the<br />
