Happy Snappers<br />

The Happy Snappers Photography Club is looking<br />

for new members.<br />

Meetings cover a range of topics from landscapes,<br />

macro photography, portraits, flash and wildlife<br />

snaps, as well as regular seminars and field<br />

trips. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a<br />

professional photographer – as long as you’re<br />

willing to share your skills and learn from others,<br />

you’re incredibly welcome.<br />

Meetings take place at the Bull & Dog on Clock Face<br />

Road on the second and last Wednesdays of the<br />

month. If you’re interested in going along, contact<br />

Ian or Mike at photoclub120@yahoo.com or ask in<br />

the bar about the next meeting.<br />

Smarties Support<br />

A group for children with special needs and their<br />

carers runs fortnightly in <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Helens</strong>.<br />

Smarties is an SEN play and support group where<br />

children aged 0-16 can come and play in a safe,<br />

non-judgemental environment, and where their<br />

carers can enjoy refreshments and a chat.<br />

Entry to the sessions cost £1.50, and they run every<br />

other weekend from 10am-12pm at <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Helens</strong> Sea<br />

Cadets on Mill <strong>St</strong>reet. <strong>April</strong>’s first session takes place<br />

on Sunday, <strong>April</strong> 14.<br />

Connect with Art<br />

A 12-week art course starts at the end of March.<br />

Experience creative card making, decoupage, hot<br />

wax painting, wooden coaster design and much<br />

more!<br />

Attendees are welcome to start whenever they<br />

choose and attend as many sessions as they like.<br />

Sessions take place every Wednesday from 12pm-<br />

2pm at the Park Farm ACYP Community Centre on<br />

Kentmere Avenue in Moss Bank (WA11 7PG). Each<br />

class costs £2 – for more information or to book<br />
