CDS now offering Better<br />
Broadb<strong>and</strong> scheme vouchers<br />
The Connecting Devon <strong>and</strong> Somerset<br />
broadb<strong>and</strong> programme announced in<br />
March that it will be offering vouchers<br />
through the national BDUK Better<br />
Broadb<strong>and</strong> Scheme. All homes <strong>and</strong><br />
businesses in the region with broadb<strong>and</strong><br />
speeds of less than 2 Mbs per second<br />
without a published delivery date for<br />
superfast broadb<strong>and</strong> within the next 12<br />
months are eligible to apply for an<br />
interim solution under the voucher<br />
scheme. Vouchers worth up to £350<br />
would contribute towards the cost of<br />
equipment <strong>and</strong> installation of a 4G<br />
Fixed Wireless or Satellite solution.<br />
