Suggested Itinerary<br />

Day 1<br />

Depart your institute by coach and travel to<br />

Normandy via ferry or Le Shuttle. After arriving<br />

at your accommodation, enjoy some free time<br />

enjoying the facilities and an evening meal at<br />

your accommodation.<br />

Day 3<br />

After breakfast at your accommodation your<br />

group could either receive further onsite<br />

language lessons or, transfer straight to beautiful<br />

Bayeux where you can indulge yourselves at<br />

the Chocolate Museum and pay a visit to the<br />

famous Bayeux Tapestry.<br />

After an al fresco packed lunch in the Bayeux<br />

market square travel onwards to Cherbourg for<br />

a fantastic visit to the Cite de la Mer maritime<br />

museum. This fascinating destination will allow<br />

students to utilise their French in a relaxed<br />

setting when interacting with staff and reading<br />

exhibits.<br />

After a jam-packed day, you will travel back to<br />

your accommodation for some free time to use<br />

nearby facilities before enjoying your evening<br />

meal.<br />

Day 2<br />

After breakfast at your accommodation,<br />

explore local Rouen with a visit to the Rouen<br />

wholesale markets where students can sample<br />

classic French cuisine and culture. Markets are the<br />

perfect opportunity for students to interact with<br />

locals and put their language skills to the test<br />

using your unique ‘Project French’ resources<br />

full of tasks for students to complete, perhaps<br />

ordering a delicious lunch in French.<br />

If you have time a short transfer to Giverny can<br />

see you exploring the home of famous French<br />

impressionist painter, Claude Monet. Where your<br />

students can learn more about French culture and<br />

art, before returning to your accommodation for<br />

an evening meal.<br />

Day 4<br />

Have a relaxing breakfast at the accommodation<br />

and check-out. You will be transferred to the<br />

airport. After arriving back to UK, make your way<br />

back home.<br />
