former chef and
competitive bas
ketball player is
earning millions by sharing
fitness photos and
Australia
videos with her 2.5 million
fans on Instagram.
Jem Wolfie, who is based
in Perth, Western Australia,
sells her own merchandise,
workout and
recipe e-books, and earns
$30,000 a day using a
subscription-based social
media website called
OnlyFans.
Through her combined
business ventures the 27-
year-old has earned more
than $2million since last
August, according to
Perth Now, and her star
power is only set to rise
even further.
Miss Wolfie left high
school to work 70 hours a
week in the culinary
world, fast-tracking her
chef apprenticeship and
securing a cafe job.
But being a chef wasn't
all she had hoped it would
be, so she turned her focus
toward the Western
Basketball
League (WABL) and
started playing basketball
more competitively.
But in 2015 a serious knee
injury forced her off the
court and into the gym for
rehab, where she began
posting workout videos to
a small online audience.
A combination of gym
photos and basketball
trick shots set Miss
Wolfie's profile apart form
other Instagram famous
influencers like Tammy
Hembrow, and her follower
base began to grow.
Kanye West's recording
label Atlantic Records
even noticed what she
was doing - and wanted to
get involved.
'Let's say Atlantic Records
has Cardi B's new song to
push, they'll say, "Jem, we
want you to put this on
your next video", then when
Cardi's team has approved it, I
hit post,' she told the publication.
Knowing she was onto something,
Miss Wolfie decided to
keep some of her content behind
a paywall on OnlyFans - a
UK-based social media platform
that allows influencers to
charge followers a monthly subscription
fee for videos and photos.
A person can pay $15 a month
to view her content and since
last August the curvaceous
blonde has earned $2 million
from the website alone.
'I guess how I look on the outside
has helped my career a lot, I
can't deny that,' she said.
'But I have a line for OnlyFans
and I have a line for Instagram
because I believe that there's a
certain amount that should never
been shown, and I keep that for
a potential partner I'd be with.'
Despite hundreds of male commenters
leaving complimentary
messages on her social media
uploads, there are a lot of people
who don't believe Miss Wolfie's
body is real.
But she insists that her curves
have all been moulded in the
gym, and it's possible for anyone
to change their figure with the
right knowledge and movements.

after removing the bones from his tomb.
The 33-year-old Beijing-based artist, known as Siyuan
Zhuji, exhumed his father's remains and arranged them
into a skeleton before lying down naked beside them
for a photoshoot.
He posted the images on art website Artand and Chinese
microblogging site Weibo on Saturday, a day after
Tomb-Sweeping Day, China's annual festival to pay respect
to the departed.
The photos drew widespread condemnation from net
users, who called his actions 'disrespectful and utterly
shameless.'
The photoshoot took place at the end of March, when
his father's remains were being reinterred after years of
wear-and-tear damage to his grave, according to Beijing
News.
Siyuan, whose real name is Si Lulu, said he was only
three years old when his father died
of liver cancer and it was 'his dream'
to take a photo with his father's
bones.
'It was an amazing feeling. This
was the closet I've ever been to my
father,' he said. 'I am expressing my
feelings to him in a personal way.'
'It was necessary for me to be naked
in the photos as this is how we
enter and leave the world,' he said.
Si said the pictures were taken by
his wife, Lin Shan, after he sought
permission from the cemetery's
caretaker.
'We shouldn't be afraid to show
real art to the world,' he said.
His account on Weibo was suspended
after the photos went viral
and generated much criticism from
net users on the site.
'You did something that no one else
could ever do. You've gone beyond
the boundary of moral principles
and held a direct conversation with
your ancestor,' another said.
'As long the action means something
to you, that's all that matters,'
one user said. 'It doesn't matter what
other people think.'
In China, there are many superstitions
and rules surrounding the
treatment of remains and tombs of
family members - digging up someone's
remains, or disturbing the
dead, is considered to be hugely disrespectful
and is believed to bring
bad karma.

tunned doctors have removed four bees living under a woman's
eye in what is believed to be a world first.
The young woman went to hospital complaining of a swollen eye
earlier this week and was horrified to discover the insects had been
feeding on her tears.
All four bees were removed alive from the 29-year-old's tear duct
after medics at Fooyin University Hospital spotted insect legs, reports
the New York Post.
Speaking at a press conference, the hospital’s head of ophthalmology
Dr Hung Chi-ting said: “I saw something that looked like insect
legs, so I pulled them out under a microscope slowly, and one at a
time without damaging their bodies.”
The woman - from Taiwan who
has only been referred to by her
surname, He - believes the bees
got into her eye when she was
pulling weeds from a family member's
grave.
She thought some soil had flown
into her eye and tried to wash it
out with water, but later that
evening she felt a sharp stinging
pain under her eyelid.
