Daughters of Charity – Creche<br />
The Sisters of the Creche reported that several washing machines and dryers of the<br />
complex were continuously breaking down and required repair service, which increased<br />
costs. Additionally, outsourcing the service slowed the operation of the Creche.<br />
To better serve the needs of all the beneficiaries and operations of the Creche, the Sisters<br />
appealed for two industrial washing machines (30 kg capacity each) and one industrial<br />
dryer (34 kg capacity each) as well as one iron table. Since the installation, the Daughters<br />
of Charity Sisters said that the staff who are working in the laundry department are<br />
now less stressful as the workload is easier to manage with the new machines. Also, the<br />
machines require a smaller amount of laundry detergent which has saved money for the<br />
institution.<br />
