o, another month has
fluttered by since our
25th anniversary April
edition. We’d like to thank
you all for your kind birthday wishes!
I think it’s fair to say that there’s been
a lot of tension in the air over the past
few weeks, which is perhaps inevitable
given the Parliamentary pantomime.
Hopefully this month it’s time to
wake up and smell the blossom – and
there’s no one like Mother Nature to
cheer you up. On Sunday, 5th May, it’s
International Dawn Chorus Day. I’m
an earlybird at the best of times but
I’ll be up with the lark to enjoy this –

get in touch with your local wildlife
trust whose volunteers have lots of
events to have you warbling...
