Greetings!<br />
I am Jaclynn Knutson, the 2018-<strong>2019</strong> National Junior <strong>Suffolk</strong> Association President. Currently a senior<br />
at South Dakota State University, I am an agricultural communications student and am excited to see what<br />
graduation brings in May of <strong>2019</strong>! My family’s <strong>Suffolk</strong> flock began when my dad was a youth, and we laugh<br />
that it’s “the 4-H project that got out of hand.” We currently run 150 Registered <strong>Suffolk</strong> and Rambouillet ewes<br />
on our farm.<br />
Thanks to all that continue to support our junior association, especially those that helped with our 2018<br />
National Junior <strong>Suffolk</strong> Show in Lebanon, Indiana. For our <strong>2019</strong> show, a change has been made, and we<br />
will be in Hutchinson, Kansas, with the All-American Junior Sheep Show. If you have any questions or<br />
concerns about our association, please feel free to contact me, and I’d love to discuss with you.<br />
I would like to personally thank the rest of the association’s board of directors. Without the work of these<br />
individuals, the shows we host would not be what they are. Thanks to all for your behind-the-scenes help!<br />
As mentioned above, we are planning our <strong>2019</strong> show with the All-American show in Hutchinson,<br />
Kansas, July 4-7, <strong>2019</strong>. I am very excited to see all the new and old faces at my final show as a junior<br />
