Ahh, another long termer! New to the <strong>RUST</strong> garage is this KTM 1290<br />
Super Adventure R. Pumped to the max, it’s kind of the last word in<br />
super adventuring. It’s so much bike it’s left JB a little bewildered.<br />

honestly don’t know what to say. Or where to start. This<br />
KTM confounds me in every dimension. There’s so much to<br />
it. For a start: 160hp. I never had a road racer that powerful.<br />
Am I ready for this much in a tourer come dirt bike? Not<br />
sure. It’s got electronic aids coming out of its ass, so many I<br />
haven’t even begun to comprehend what they’re all doing. And<br />
boy is it tall? 890mm – seems more, I’m on tiptoes everywhere,<br />
and for the first time I’m understanding how shorter people feel,<br />
and think – yeah, you have to judge cambers and make sure the<br />
foot going down is on the upside, eh?<br />
