opened May 24. It stars John C. Reilly and Betsy Brandt, created by Reilly and Patrick Murphy, who directs. The show<br />

takes audiences to wondrous worlds full of legendary creatures and colorful characters, as traditional folklore and<br />

contemporary pieces come to life in a magical experience for all ages. The show continues at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through<br />

presents its final production of the season, “Noises<br />

Off,” Michael Frayn’s hilarious offbeat comedy. The<br />

outlandish British farce follows an under-rehearsed<br />

and overworked cast and crew with a penchant for<br />

drama readying themselves for the premiere of a<br />

new play, “Nothing On.” It opened May 21, closing<br />

Performing Arts Center, 110 E. Broadway, Glendale,<br />

presents the Cicely Hamilton romantic comedy<br />

“Diana of Dobson’s,” which opened April 18.<br />

Launched in 1908 in London, the play provided<br />

theatergoers a romantic comedy that was also<br />

illuminating and thought-provoking, upending the<br />

Cinderella fable. It’s the story of a highly intelligent<br />

Edwardian shop assistant who briefly escaped her<br />

life of drudgery but cannot elude the social and<br />

economic strictures that stifle her. The play continues<br />

at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 8<br />

p.m. Monday, closing Monday. Tickets are $35. Call<br />
