This week’s Photo
Op came from
DiAnne Bielinski,
who sent it by
email in March.
“My one year old
granddaughter,
Madeline, waving
to a deer who came
up to the window,”
Bielinski wrote.
something unique,
Scar
Sarah Larson
Orland Park resident
I would like to introduce you to Scar.
Our son found Scar when the cat
was just 6 months old. It was cold
out with snow on the ground, and he
was homeless and malnourished, living on the streets. We took him in and
gave him the care he needed. One year later, he is a very happy and healthy
cat. He loves to get into trouble by eating any food in sight, including computer
chords and firewood. In the morning, he likes to talk to us. I think he says
‘Hello.’ My husband says it’s just ‘Meow.’ But as a good husband, he agrees
that I’m right. Scar loves to sit in front of the fireplace and watch his mom cook
(obviously plotting his evil plans, but we love him just the same).
