The year B.E. 2018 was the outstanding and successful year of depa.
All the major missions in promotion and support digital development
and innovation, including application of those outputs to drive and
make benefits in economic, social and cultural aspects, and also
national defense, that completely harmonized with The Master Plan
in Digital Economy Promotion (B.E. 2018–20121) in the framework of
the government. These missions output could hopefully stimulate
awareness of the importance of technology, innovation and digital
development in industry and digital business nationwide and even
South East Asian regional wide. The momentum from all the activities,
that depa supported and promoted, was expected to stimulated and
increased more investment in digital industry and business exponentially,
in totally over 15 billion baht.
I would like to acknowledge depa Board of Directors, network of
alliances from government, private and public sectors, all the executives
and staff for their devotion, determination and effort in every cooperation
in driving digital economy for society. This kind of collaboration is
particularly important and essential for the sustainability of the country
and I hope that we could prolong it endlessly.
