FOUNDER/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
POWERHOUSE MINISTRIES
In 1992, I founded the Powerhouse Ministries,
a non-profit organization serving people
struggling with addiction, abuse and poverty.
I am an active member of the Twin Lakes
Ministerial Association and serve on the
Executive Advisory Team for Serve Partnership
Unlimited (Division of Youth for Christ) and the
Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Board.
What is the most important advice you have
ever received and from whom?
The best advice I ever received was from my
dad. He said, “If something is worth doing
at all, it’s worth doing well.” If seeing people
overcome addiction, abuse and poverty is
worth doing, then it is worth doing well!

TWIN LAKES FOOD BANK
I have worked in the non-profit industry for
more than 15 years. I have served as executive
director at Twin Lakes Food Bank since 2018.
I spent six years on pastoral staff at Lakeside
Church where I developed and implemented
adult discipleship programs and cultivated
people’s best assets in order to serve and enrich
the lives of those in need.

WINTER SANCTUARY COORDINATOR,

I am a retired legal assistant who has worked
as a volunteer in homeless related projects
most of my life. I represented Oak Hills
Church on Folsom Police Dept.’s Folsom
Faith and Homeless Initiative in 2017, during
which we formed HART of Folsom. We offer
mentoring, a transition house, and on-going
support, to make sure Folsom is a kind and
caring place to live for everyone.
What is the most important advice you have
ever received and from whom?
“Search for the Lord and His strength;
continually seek His face.” Psalms 105:4 Holy

I have 28 years of experience in community colleges. I have been a full-time faculty
member in Communication Studies at West Valley College and served as Director of
Instructional Outreach at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton CO, and as Dean of
Instruction at Folsom Lake College (FLC).
What’s your superpower?
My superpower: I can see the future, and it is bright!
